The 1e game I DM:ed here now made into a free PDF module!

#1 Post by Nordbo »

Hi all

After completing the 1e low-level game The Pits of Wob on this forum (here: viewforum.php?f=170 )

it became a real module!

GreywolfVT, MonkeyWrench, Dram and Pyroarrow started off as brave players but must now of course also be given credit as playtesters (although that wasn't the plan when the game started!).
Thanks to all four for good gaming - and to US for providing the platform.

So, if you want to have a look, welcome to download the 18-page, illustrated PDF of The Pits of Wob for free here: http://elfgrim.yolasite.com

Really does look good.
Thanks for sharing!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Looks cool! I'll have to download it later, but looking forward to reading it.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Very cool. I just contacted your artist for some art that I need for something I'm working on. Are you located in Sweden?

Thanks Toni! Yes, all involved in this module (except for the 'play testers' of course ;) ) are based in Sweden (the artist is only half-Swedish, though)

Thanks also to Rredmond, GW, Fulci, Scott, Inferno & Hedge for positive vibes! Glad you all liked it!

I saw this when I came back and I just want to say Nordbo...

CONGRATS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had some streamers I'd be running around and stuff, but I doubt anyone here want's that kind of mess...

I'm glad I got to be a part of that and I'm insanely hyped for you getting this out there, I already read through it and even showed it to Antman. We're both liking the old school style of it!

Thanks man!

You helped build it! Jacob's intense trap-checking provided a good reality check to fall back on when it was time to do the final edits - hang on to him!

PS. And yes, sorry I'm stuck in old-school style. Last time I published a scenario was in 19CENSORED
