Re: 8-Undermountain Trip 4 - SkullPort
So at this time is it that the DM has made the decision that enough of us for undermountain has convinced those not wanting to do so decide to go with us? Or am I getting that backwards still Darkmane?

Folks I removed greywolf from the game. I'll send a post out about it later today.
Re: 8-Undermountain Trip 4 - SkullPort
Hey everybody, this morning I took Greywolf up on his offer to leave the game. We've talked it over since, and are parting on good terms. I felt really stressed out and bad about the whole thing, but couldn't see any way around it.
The question rattling around in my mind, is "has all this nonsense poisoned this game beyond recovery?" I'd like to get some feed-back from you guys. I don't want to split the group and run two games. Can we get past this point in the game, find some compromise, and move on with the RP?
If not, I'll close the game down, and I won't blame anybody, sometimes games just "jump the shark". I want to say that this game has been really fun to GM through the years, we've seen some fun times, and I've had fun watching your group run up against some pretty tough challenges in the dungeon, and walk away victorious. If we call it quits, I'd say we've had a really good run, and I'll start cooking up something else.

Definitely continue. I'm equally happy on whatever path we choose to take.
Re: 8-Undermountain Trip 4 - SkullPort
I plan on staying. I will post more later.

You're going to have to kill my character and the one that follows to get rid of me.

I would not close the game, it's a good group and pretty well defined. I feel you as the GM should nudge the game the direction you would like to keep it fresh with your ideas and interests. Our job as the players is to deal with you maniacal sense of humor.

It is unfair to you to split the group. Make the call and characters will just have to find reasons to justify their actions. It is as easy as typing "He didn't know what would possess him to do it, but there he was..."

I'm in.
Sorry that Vek helped cause this schism.
DM: If you want to do Undermountain, I can say Vek bought Roseheart's argument about searching for the Fatman's path between Undermountain and Skullport.

OK - I'll get things moving again in the next day or two. I'm going to push you back into Undermountain, saying that Cormack and Roseheart convinced Vek and Thorax to take their time on tracking down the Fat Man. If you guys locate a way through the dungeon you might be able to catch him with less security, also in 3 months or so the Candle Lady will let u down.

Not that it matters at this point but I am still in.
