Tantos Vek, failed paladin:

Vek wants to chase the illusionist/flying tiger. He looks to the others to gauge their appetite for that. "The damn illusionist has burned plenty of spells. He's so weak he's fleeing. Now's our chance."

If the party didn't want to hunt the weakened illusionist, the grim warrior turned to the newcomers that distracted them from the chase and repeated the question he asked the last illusion he spoke to just before all hell broke loose: "Is there anything that might corroborate your story? We've seen some strange things in this place. You could be anyone. Or any thing."

Isabella - Cleric of Tyr

Isabella wipes the sweat from her face as Vek talks to the two newcomers. Not for the first time today, she wishes she had prayed for more healing spells. Tonight, she promises herself. If we live that long.

"We might could use a little luck from Tymora," Isabella offers, to no one in particular.

Steth looks at the others and shrugs noncommittally. "It certainly would not hurt to have Lady Luck on our side."

"Woah" says Garl while searching. "That thing took a two handed spear thrust from me to the gut and didn't flinch. My damn spear bounced off it. I've got nothing left. Unless you have some way to kill it before it is able to cast I don't think we are prepared to handle it. More so we are still lost down here, and who knows how long it is going to take us to find our way out."

She finally catches up to the group. She approaches slowly and cautiously moving close to Isabella side. She whispers to her. "Friend or foe?"

Orbin says, you can come over here and shake my hand, I'm no illusion. I can't prove hardly anything about my story without taking you back to where the walking suits of armor are patrolling, and I don't think you want to go there. We both seem to be in similar circumstances, lost in Undermountain. I think we should work together to get out, but if you want us gone, we'll leave in peace.

The grim warrior grunted his agreement with Roseheart. He didn't respond to Garl or the newcomers yet, wanting to hear the others weigh in on the matter of chasing the weakened illusionist first.

Enoka:
She finally catches up to the group. She approaches slowly and cautiously moving close to Isabella side. She whispers to her. "Friend or foe?"

"Not sure yet," Isabella responds. "We could use their help, truth be told."

Taking a chance, Isabella steps forward and calls out, "We need each other down here if we are to survive. Come and let us work this out. I am Isabella Hawkwinter, servant of Tyr. You have my word we mean you no harm."
She sheathes her sword and holds out her hand in a welcoming gesture.

I've got some spells left... what else have we got to do? Let's go after.

Both of the men shake hands with Isabella and Orbin puts his arrow away, resting his hands on his bow.

I think the pair of us could help you navigate back this way, we know a couple of secrets back down here. However, if we do encounter those animated suits of armor, and defeat them, we would like to get our Brass Hand back. It was the namesake item of our fallen band.

Orbin shrugs, we came up with our name once we found the Brass Hand. It is magical and had many abilities. We believe if one of us had the guts to cut a hand off and place the brass hand on the stump it would have had more. None of us did though. Many drinking nights were spent contemplating it.

Corrus pipes up again, quite loudly, but a little softer than before, I think my hearing is returning. If we could find a place to rest for a while I could heal anyone who is hurt!

Tella - Elf Mage

Tella takes in what Orbin says with a slight twinkle in her eye. She tries to think about anywhere she made have heard of this brass hand. Did the hand they saw earlier on the door look brass in any way?

The sigil that had been on the door was pure white.

Tella has only heard of one hand artifact, the hand of a lich who travels the multi verse. Supposedly he reached godhood and his hand contained fearsome power.

You have heard of a metal mage living in Under mountain that created an army of magical clockwork style animatronic creatures. Perhaps this hand is linked to that wizard? It is interesting that these men also speak of walking suits of armor down that way ...

Isabella nods, listening to Orbin. "If Tyr wills it, and we survive this expedition, I will gladly spend many nights and several coins drinking away the horrors I've already witnessed this day!"

To Corrus she adds, "Several of us could use your healing."

She looks at his chest, neck, shield, etc. for some sign of what god he serves. Anything?

Garl continues searching the others talk.

Steth clears his throat. "While all this getting to know you is fine and dandy, I doubt this is the locale to stay in one for too long. I suggest we continue along our way."

OK so what's the consensus? Steth asnd Vek are ready to push on, Isabella would like to rest and do some healing. Looking back it also looks like Roseheart and Tella are ready to take chase behind the tiger lady.

Garl you don't find any treasure, but you do notice a scrap of a scroll, that was the magic you foiled from the tiger lady. It might be useful to one of your wizards, emerald runes craawl over the tiny scrap.

If you decide to rest, the only good spot is the domestic room with the sigil door. If you decide to push on you can follow tiger lady, or head back past the sigil door and see wehat lies in that direction.
