Text Formatting

Clearly a non-urgent request, but I was wondering if there were additional text formatting options available on phpBB? I was looking at the Text formatting markup section and I didn't see an example of what I was hoping for, but maybe someone will have some thoughts.

Basically, I was just hoping to get individual spaces recognized.

When creating a new character, it would be nice to be able to list multiple items in the same line (e.g. race, class, alignment, level, etc... ) leaving some space for formatting between each item.

For instance, if I type 'Race:' at the start of a line, press the spacebar 15-20 times, and then type 'Class: '

15 spaces
Race: Class:

Replace the 15 spaces with underscore characters for illustrative purposes
Race:_______________Class:


The "code" formatting option works, but all the text gets wrapped up like in a quote which isn't ideal.

I was thinking teletype text [tt] might be an option, if available, but I'm not sure?


Anyone else see any value in this (I could see this formatting ability being helpful in creating maps)?

I looked into this and didn't find much beyond the 'code' tag. I might be able to modify it so that it doesn't put it in the box like it does now, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for other options as well.

I wouldn't spend too much time on it. It's definitely more of a "nice to have" than a need. Thanks, though!
