AFK or extended absences

#1 Post by OGRE MAGE »

Again, this game has an expected post rate of every other day. If you know that you will be unable to post in that timeframe for a while, please let me know by posting that information here. Your absence will not pose a problem for you as long as I am aware of it beforehand.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I'll be out of town from the 5th to the 7th. I'll try to check in, but I'm unsure if I'll be able post.

Ogre, please NPC Keilif if I'm unable to post, and I'm holding things up. Thanks!

Hey fellers > I'll be traveling to my parents tomorrow for at least one funeral (my dad's first cousin), and likely a second (my aunt). It's gonna be a long sucky weekend that may last into the Monday/Tuesday. I'll try to be online if possible and post when I can.

Just letting you all know that I will be heading back down to the island for our spring vacation this afternoon.

I will still try to post when I can, but my posting rate may be far slower than normal for the next 12 days or so.

I blame it on the Red Stripe. :D Yah Mon!!!

I will still work on the dialog for the next council meeting so we should be able to keep the action moving here. Please take this slow time to make sure your sheets are up to snuff. We will resume the mission as soon as the next meeting is over so, feel free to continue strategy discussions for your next approach to the mansion, if you dare. :D

International business travel for next 2 weeks. Should be checking in, just maybe not as frequently. FYI.

Love the Caribbean above all places thus far - enjoy!

Will be out of town this weekend and next week. I don't know how often I'll be able to check in.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

What a bad group of players. Unfortunately, for those who have played with Ed Greenwood before (yeah, I'm name dropping- go to Gamehole next year and you can play in Ed's game too), you know he doesn't tend to reign in players that start to wander away from the plot, in fact tends to wander with them. As a result, we had three players who felt like doing a bunch of role-playing that just slowed things down and weren't willing to make a decision and try to advance the story. Way too much time spent dicking around for a hard time-limit convention game. I would have liked to have finished the adventure, and we had plenty of time if it wasn't for those three players slowing things down.
