Re: OOC Chat II
I think we could take that tree. All we need are some oil launchers and flame-tipped arrows...

That makes three of us, then.

On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I'll bet we can sweet talk her into giving us whatever is in her trunk. That would be a fine expedition.
Re: OOC Chat II
I believe we tried sweet talk last time, and all it got us was everyone donating blood.

The Carkiss was a female? How did a pubescent boy miss that one?

Carkiss seems not so bad
She just loves her kids and when they don't visit SHE WANTS BLOOD
The Yakety Sax Montage expands--in addition to the nighttime rock fight, I'm adding the scene of Njord's party members falling like lemmings into that pit trap (it's only funny because it's sad

Re: OOC Chat II
You'd think we'd eventually run out of room in the pit for any more people. Maybe we could roll to see who falls in first. All those bodies ought to cushion the fall for the later entrants.

Love the Deities/Superstitions thread! It's fun making up all this Fortis stuff for Olympia. If there's was a ven diagram of gods, Fortis would be where Pelor and Ogmios overlap

It's pretty cool reading what you guys are coming up with for details of your gods.

Sick wife means I'm on baby duty 24/7. I got my new machine up and running so tonight will see me posting across the board, once they're both asleep

I'm going to quit this game. Thanks for the ride, but it's too much for me to keep up with.

Re: OOC Chat II
As a side fun thing for my character I was thinking about making journal entries, basically research findings on the local creatures, places, or things he has found while here, would that fall into the deities and superstitions? Or is there a more appropriate place to put stuff like that?
Information will include, from his point of view, the different creatures and places with weaknesses found as well as any over fluff stuff such as rituals, mating, lifestyles, buildings, knowledge, etc.

Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: OOC Chat II
You can go ahead and toss all that stuff up in Legends and Lore! I look forward to reading them
