Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
"Oi," Procyon beckoned others. "Try this stuff out. Tastes like grape juice."

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Arn, never one to give reason for people to question his bravery (and rather enjoying the taste of grapes), takes a sip himself. 'Ah, very vintage!'
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Dungeon Master:
Again & now Arn feels a wee bit invigorated from the sip from the potion bottle.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Jenks will have a scout round to the other side of the chasm (the bit we haven't been to (western end?) and give it the once over before returning to the group and reporting what he sees
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Dungeon Master:
You all are currently on the north side of the broken bridge at the western end.
The body & dire rats were under that section of the bridge.
You could go around & have a look at the southern side of the broken bridge if you wish.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Arn will accompany Jenks to cover him in case any more rats show up. He wonders how much chance the rest of the party will have completing their quest if two of their group actually manage to fall prey to these inconceivably dangerous vermin…

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Elusev gets out of the little crag him and Arn were in and then walks over to the Cooshee, "Once you search that area we can follow the Cooshee back, hopefully it will leads us to the half-elf."
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Jenks does indeed walk round to the south.
"Do you want to check under this side of the bridge, Arn. I will back you up."
Jenks draws his sword and tried to look menacing.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
'Don't mind if I do, Jenks.'
Arn draws his blade, cracks his neck from side to side, ready to do what he does best. He peeks under the bridge, this time quite wary of any creepies hiding under the bridge.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Dungeon Master:
Arn & Jenks have a look at the south side of the broken bridge & find nothing out of the ordinary!
The party then decides to let this green furred Cooshee dog lead them to wherever it wants them to follow.
This trip it turns out is approximately 23 miles south & east of Marmor quarry in the wastelands just south at the base of Mt. Dantorc.
You made the trip without any wandering monster encounters.
Ahead you see a small cave entrance poorly concealed with what little brush lies at the base of Mt. Dantorc.
Small dwarven runes reflect in the hot sun over the man made mouth.
The floor of the caveis visible, and it contains random tiles and stones making for easy passage.
Barely visible near the rear of the cave is a set of stairs.
Not a sound can be heard inside.
The party can decide here to either make camp for the night or go right on in!

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Elusev looks over the stairs, "I believe we should continue on." His eyes flick to Cayley, "Unless you all would like to rest?"

Cayley
"I have one healing spell left, if we wish to press on I am fine with that."

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Dungeon Master:
The Runes are in Dwarven, thus The Doctor, Elusev, Tuireann, Cayley & Arn all understand it to read:
“Wrought By Thy Might To Live In Earth’s Night”.
Meanwhile, the Cooshee Dog is running about excitedly & sniffing the ground, around the entrance here.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Jenks scouts all bout the entrance looking for traps, tripwires, pits etc
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Arn tries his best to make out any tracks around the entrance that the dog might be sniffing.
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Tuireann:
Tuireann steps forward to read the runes. “They say, Wrought By Thy Might To Live In Earth’s Night”

Elusev, "Perhaps a feat of strength is required to gain access to the lower tunnels the further in we go? We had best keep our guard up." he lets the trap seekers do their thing before heading inside and down the stairs.

Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Teladrin will assist Arn in looking for tracks.
Re: Chapter 4: Investigating Marmor Quarry
Dungeon Master:
Those looking for tracks especially the Ranger, find small sized footprints coming & going from the cave entrance & they are fresh.
Trap checkers, (Thief & Monk), I need your 1d100 Rolls!
