Blake Hayes' start
Blake Hayes' start
“Hehehahahaaa! Do you honestly think you have me cornered?”
“Give it up Hot Streak,” booms the voice of an overly-heroic hero, “the chase ends here, we’ve won!”
“That’s right,” chimes in another hero, “come along quietly and we won’t have to get rough…” A sinister smile slowly starts to take shape on the villain’s face. He pulls out a small device from behind his back and raises it up in front of the heroes. Their eyes widen as they realize it is a detonator!
“RUN,” screams the man in tights as he tries to flee from the ‘cornered’ villain. It is too late though, a maniacal laugh drowns out their screams as the button on the detonator was pushed. An explosion leveled the entire block of the city, none of the heroes made it out alive.
Several miles away, Hot Streak slows down to a casual walk as he brushes off some building debris from his shoulders and looks over his shoulder with a smile. “What beautiful work,” he thought to himself. He pulls out a small notepad and marks off two more names from the list. “It looks as if I’ve cleared this city’s population of supers, on to the next one. The citizens here will be reeling from this for weeks, their Captain Platinum and their Miss Euphania, toasting in a pile of charred debris, hahahaha!”
Pulling out his personal PDA, he does a diagnostic reading of his supply of explosives. “The numbers are not looking good…” he thinks to himself. “I will need to hit a bank up soon, perhaps a special trip to the local warehouse (black market).” Flicking a few windows over on his touch screen, he brings up his personalized super radar and types in the next set of parameters to search. What is displayed next confuses him at first. “Of all of the places, why in such a remote…. No. Ohohohoho no, your joking me!” Three faces appear on this screen, a lady in blue skin, a man in green, and someone very familiar to Hot Streak, an old friend….

So, what's our plan of action here? There are multiple ways of going about this arc right now, just need some input from your character, then we can get going!

Well I am not sure, I'd be most anxious in heading to this warehouse, but if I have any henchmen I might call them and have them meet me there. Other than that I can't think of much more.

Re: Blake Hayes' start
I will let you think on this for a while. Can't say I will be on all the time tomorrow, got work and all that. If you are still at a loss as to what you should do next, we can always talk it over later, but then, I don't want to play your character for you 90% of the time either, that would be silly! We will need to find a good balance with this.
I know you are not prone to typing a whole lot, but I will need something to go off of, a simple action or goal in mind would suffice. Again, give it some thought.

Alright here is my attempt.

Nice! Exactly what we needed. You told me what your character's course of action would be and even gave me more information to go off of. Your responses don't always have to be this long, if your more comfortable with shorter ones, just as a heads up.ednichols wrote:Alright here is my attempt.
Re: Blake Hayes' start
Hot Streak is quick to meet up at the rendezvous point, growing a little impatient as he called them but only a few minutes ago. After waiting for about 10 more minutes, the familiar faces finally show up. Hot Streak's usual supplier walks forward nods his head in greeting. "Always a pleasure Mr. Hayes. Your package has been brought and prepped as requested. We but need the next set of coordinates to start said installations, and of course, no fees attached. We are still indebted to you for... taking care of one of our problems."
Hot Streak has been busy the last few years after his fateful escape, building up a good reputation with the black market even further than he did as an information broker. He became more hands on in his dealings and took care of some unwanted heat that kept on hounding his associates (heroes and goody two-shoe people). His recent work has but guarunteed him all the explosives he could ever need or want in a lifetime, on the house. It pays to be evil.
Two of the strong arms of the agency hauls a huge electronically locked crate out and brings it front of Blake. The supplier inputs the necessary code and then the releases open. Steam flies out as the lid slowly opens. Hot Streak whistles when he sees what's inside.

Re: Blake Hayes' start
"You know Mack you are too good." Blake says. "Here are the coordinates for the installments." Blake hands the man he called Mack a piece of paper with coordinates written down as well as specific instructions and trigger specifications for the explosives. "Should be a cinch for you guys, but speed is of the utmost importance." With that Blake Hayes grabs a portion of the (supplies) from the case and speeds off to setup some 'presents' for his old friend. With a vile grin and a maniacal laugh Blake takes extra care to ensure his surprise is set perfectly in place and awaits his old friends arrival.

Re: Blake Hayes' start
Here is where things will get exciting. The next few events for your character will be taking place at the abandoned mountain-side research installation, the one where Raven and your two other targets are located. Depending on your actions, you may actually influence Raven's arc and be able to exchange some attacks mentally and physically with each other.
I will leave it up to you as to how much you want to reveal to Raven, but know that if you tell him everything you know from the start, the suspense and psychological warfare won't be as long or fun. So, if I may suggest, you should probably just goad him into a fight, letting on that you know more about him than what he currently knows about himself. Leave him hanging and clawing at the idea of, who is this guy, and why does he know so much about me?

I don't plan to reveal much of anything at first other than I know you but you can't remember me ploy.

Truthfully speaking, I'm delaying the next event some until another arc gets to a certain point, for things to start making sense when you put your plan into action. I hope you don't mind the wait. Should give you time on your other characters as well if you want to look at it that way.

Didn't even know I was copying someone else with the name Hot Streak. http://www.comicvine.com/hot-streak/4005-44591/ & http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Hotstreak

Eh, don't worry about it too much, it doesn't bother me any, but, if it will eat away at you, I'm sure we can still change your character name to something else real quick. I will leave that option open to you.GreyWolfVT wrote:Didn't even know I was copying someone else with the name Hot Streak. http://www.comicvine.com/hot-streak/4005-44591/ & http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Hotstreak
In regards to your arc, it will start up again soon. Raven's arc is just about at the point where you can come in. Have to wait on them to resolve a couple of things first.
