Re: Characters and Map
Name: Etul Kamrak
Conniving trader in suppressed, banned, or otherwise less-than-legal antiquities and curios, typically active near the Invisible Library.
Brute +0
Skulker +2
Erudite +1
Carrying Strain 12(?)/ Max 18
x10 = 90 Silver
Dappled yellow and green cloak
Rope x2 4
4 torches 2
Flint & steel 2
3 iron spikes 6
Chalk 2
Waterskin 2
Rations (5) 2
Lockpicks 5
Bear trap 5
Yosemite Hammer (pickaxe) 5 (1h weapon)
Great Missile Weapon(?) (Artillery carbine?) 40s
20 cartridges 5?
Fine kid gloves 5?
5 silver remaining
The core book is a bit vague on some things so I guesstimated a bit. Missile weapons aren't listed anywhere so I just figured melee weapon costs applied. I also wasn't sure how we were counting inventory. I figured the flint and steel, spikes, and chalk counted as 1 item. If not I'll trim my inventory a bit. I also figured the 2h weapon was 2 items. I'm also not exactly sure what the right tech level is for starting gear. I was picturing a Napoleonic era cavalry carbine, but I'm happy to adjust that.

Re: Characters and Map
This is a science-fantasy world with ancient tech from the "Star Kings". So what you have is a relict of the ancients, a Star Kings carbine (2 Strain, DS 10). There are special rules for using this, which I will cover in the new Tech thread.

One question about inventory - do worn items such as a cloak and these lenses count as an item?
Re: Characters and Map
No.
