The Mausoleum of the Ghouls
The four companions return to the mausoleum and into the entry hall. The bodies of the dead ghouls are still there, as are the coffins in the northern chamber where the wall was hastily repaired. Nothing has been disturbed. The antechamber to the left is where Khawla and Vandy first discovered (and killed) the ghouls. The antechamber to the right is unexplored.

"We did not search the Ghouls when we left, lets close our nose and do it, yes?"
Tuga starts to head the ones that were involved with him.

Re: The Mausoleum of the Ghouls
Holding his breath against the stench, Tuga searches the two ghouls, but finds nothing useful; they wear just enough rags to cover their genitals and that's about it. Their bodies are taut and gray, skin stretched tight over bone. Their talons are long are black as are their eyes.

Elwood "Aye fine by me." the dwarf nods his head deferring to the "experts" of this area.

Re: The Mausoleum of the Ghouls
Moving toward the chamber on the right, the group follows a set of stairs down to a landing and the chamber is revealed before them. As compared to the left side, Khawla observes this place to be more serene in nature due to the braziers burning in the northern alcoves and the rippling pool straight ahead. A window above the pool allows sunshine to fall upon its blue waters. There are six sarcophagi made of white marble. The room is very quiet.

"It is good to see it hasn't been disturbed yet. Lets start clearing the barricade and head into the tunnels."
She heads back to start clearing the barricade after saying a quick prayer of thanks.

Re: The Mausoleum of the Ghouls
Beyond the Barricade...
The companions disassemble to hastily erected barricade and move into the tunnel...eventually coming to the small chamber where Gurkan, Khawla, and Alle fought and killed two ghouls...whose bodies remain where they died. A narrow tunnel runs off to the north, while a second trails off to the south. From somewhere comes the sounds of what could be trickling water...
Actions?
Gurkan/Khawla, do you have a light source? It's pitch black in here.

Khawla
Does Khawla still have the light spell on her scimitar? If not she will light a torch.
"Head north?"

Re: The Mausoleum of the Ghouls
With light enough to see, the companions take the northern tunnel and follow the narrow pathway through curves and bends, all the while alert for an attack from the front or the rear. None occurs as they continue forward...and then the tunnel begins to open up and there is a greenish glow ahead.
The tunnel opens into a huge cavern. There are rock formations, stalagmites, here and there, with a small stream of water ending in a pool behind them. There are also two sets of stair-like rings leading up to two round stone chairs (thrones?). One chair is empty (the one on the right); on the other sits a figure draped in a moldy gray robe.
The greenish glow comes from lichen all around the walls and the stalagmites. Except for the gurgling water, there is no other noise.

Khawla
"Lets proceed very carefully towards the seats."
She starts to move slowly, keeping her eyes out for dangers, including on the ceiling. Holding her torch high to get good illumination.
