Hello All. Getting a late start but I have played WFRP so shouldn't take me long to catch up.

Am I missing something or shouldn't a messenger have the Ride skill?

The Ride skill becomes available at the next level of the Messenger Career path. Firt off you are a 'Runner.' Second, a Messenger. Third, a Courier and so on.

(I hope I haven't been too confusing with the chargen of you character)

No, you have been great. So how do I get to the next level or is that during play?

[Tamerlaine]

During play. You have to max out certain scores for that entry level, then buy the next level with XPs. Btw, I'm sure everyone gets 95 XPs for taking the harder route generating your character. Hadarai posted the cost of using XPs for Advancements (skill points), adding to characteristics, etc..
