Can users customize their view?

Now that there are several games going on, it gets harder to quickly check the games I am playing to see if a new post, etc has occured. Yes, most of this comes from being lazy, but I was wondering if there is a function sitting idley by that allows users to independently:
A) hide threads/folders they dont want to see, or
B) create a favorites section where they can move their favored threads into?

I think A has a better chance of being realistic, and would probably best solve my question...

I agree that this would be great. I've done a little research and have only found a modification that allows entire categories to be shown/hidden (e.g.: the entire PbP section, or the news section, etc), which isn't the solution.

I'll do a little more looking around, but I don't think much will come up.
