He has a nice backstory, a character image and some stories to tell.
Sorry buddy, normally I'd love to port someone's favored character into one of my games but at 3rd level, that wouldn't be fair to the others.

I need to see the character sheet first before approving it. Make sure the ability stats are in line with the minimum requirements for this class. Please do keep in mind that I'm highly skeptical of paladins and how they are played. Some play them right and most do not. The DM's ALL-Seeing Eye will be on your character and how you play him/her.

sastaz wrote: Thu Aug 11, 2022 9:39 am Also, please clarify if we do race-as-class or not. I see some players added race (with ability modifiers) to their class, some went with race-as-class.

I.e. are you "dwarf" or "dwarven fighter" in this game? LL AEC covers both options.
Oh my gosh, you had me scampering for my books! Well, the AEC mentions that, at my discretion I can allow an Elf class adventure side-by-side with a Dwarven cleric or half-orc Assassin (the latter class which I do not allow anyway), but the point is made. It's too late to have the OG players revise their characters either or (or is it?). I only picked LL as it offers clerics the ability to cast spells at level one. I'm okay with a players picking either of the two to go with yet I don't know if there is a power creep somewhere that will eventually unbalance the game. Not knowing, I say pick whichever way to make the character you want.

Feedback is welcome.

Hmm - interesting. Should I pick another class? Also, did the link I sent to my character sheet via PM work?

Set one for unknown character:

[3d6]=8 [3d6]=9 [3d6]=10 [3d6]=8 [3d6]=15 [3d6]=10

Not bad. Nothing that really stinks.

[3d6]=9 [3d6]=11 [3d6]=8 [3d6]=9 [3d6]=9 [3d6]=8

Wow. If I wanted to play an NPC, this guy would be perfect. :) Set 1 it is then.

Okay, thanks for all the answers Tamerlaine, sheet with new PC coming up in ~8 hours!

And, mixing LL with AEC should work, as you say. Elves-as-class has a higher XP cap, so they're balanced IMO.

Is there anything we should read before starting to play?

[3d6]=9, [3d6]=7, [3d6]=9, [3d6]=11, [3d6]=9, [3d6]=5
[3d6]=10, [3d6]=15, [3d6]=9, [3d6]=13, [3d6]=10, [3d6]=11

First roll only had one value over 9 so the second set then.

This is what I've got so far. Worshipper of Bormanus. I hit the motherlode with his roll for starting money and actually got 240gp. So he bought a pony to carry all the stuff he can't with his average strength. I'll finish him up tomorrow morning.
