As one of the primed fractal charges detonates and scours a deep grove in their hull, the pirates seem to realise that you aren't such easy pickings and change tact form disabling you to destroying you. Silas' piloting gives their targetting systems the slip for several minutes, but eventually Benedict confirms that a more solid lock has been confirmed; for a fraction of a second at least. The master programmer effortlessly breaks the clumsy painter protocol, leaving the pirate gunner with only a standard scan to work with. He blazes away with both main batteries, and manages to finally score a solid hit on the Ogilvy, the retrofitted reaper cannons punching through the medical frigate's cargo bay armour nearly exposing the ship to the vacuum of deep space.

Damian braces himself while the loader churns, firing only a single round of fractal charge canisters. The chunking movement, however, clears the jam which he was struggling with. The intensity of the situation ratchets up and up as the whine of the damaged and now primed charge rises in pitch.

Damian leans against the bulkhead, still hyperventilating from how close they, and especially he, came to being vented into space by the damaged charge, concerned by the ominous creaking of the hull plating now damaged by additional reaper battery fire.

Silas dealt with his kind of people before - ruthless, backstabbing, conniving bastards. He doesn't trust the pirate as far as he can throw him. If this is to be his final flight, then he'll make it a flashy one.
