Phew, thanks :)

And I'm glad that it helped you spot more things!

Sorry to have been a little absent from this game lately. Been trying to get my character for the other TB game in order and had some other stuff come up. But don't worry, my heart still belongs to Harlan Wax.

No worries, i figured it was a combination of factors--just wanted to give in to a moment of self-pity given how active the other forum was :)

The prelude to that campaign has been very involved, its true.

Hmm, I'm thinking I misplayed that last round. I had an easy win on my Defend. I should have saved my Thoughtful bonus for my Attack next round. Oh well, live and learn.

Yeah, that misused trait die might be the difference between a straight win and some kind of compromise in this conflict.

Man, Agrom seems to be having quite the time over in his thread. Give that mangy little toad his comeuppance, sulldawga.

It's an intriguing sight: the hard-eyed warrior, beleaguered and poisoned, facing off against the weak but still-fresh kobold. Give the conflict mechanics, a much more tense struggle than you would expect, mainly due to the lack of helpers for the actions.

Yeah, in "regular" D&D, I think I would have just jumped on top of him and called it a day. But one-on-one conflicts are tough, especially with conditions.

Killer scripting Sulldawga!

I'm loving the scene set by the conflict mechanics as well. Despite being so granular and tactical, it manages to mainatain a level of cinematic tension that I think is really great.

I have to confess, the Conflict tactics are a lot of fun. It's been killing me trying to figure out how Keehnelf is playing the kobold, while trying not to get into a situation where I lose DPs.

Too bad I guessed right and then the Dice Roller failed me. I could have finished this one with that Feint.

It's interesting. You have more dice, but the lighting disadvantage is really making this a much more dangerous confrontation. Essentially you lose a success on every roll you make. While I don't think there's any doubt of the eventual outcome, going through the motions really reinforces the struggle involved in getting to that resolution.

Awesome capture conflict guys! Bravo to Agrom.

Also, its great to know that if Raizenbrayne and I can get to the room beyond where we are now, we might be able to quickly reunite with Agrom.

I may try to feed the Kobold to the beast down there with you, and see if that buys you some time.

I gotta say, I wouldn't blame you. Although that would make the whole terrible quest for the amulet an admittedly entertaining exercise in futility.

Depends on whether the amulet has any value or properties outside of the kobold's desire for it...

Plus, if you hadn't gone looking for the amulet you may not have found the sword as well!

So I haven't much paid attention to passing and failing tests but I guess we're supposed to watch that in real time, right?

For the conflict, Agrom gets one passed test for Fighter, Hunter, and Health (when he resisted the kobold's shove)?

Can I get passes and fails from the same conflict? I can't tell if it's one pass and one fail per conflict, or one test per conflict.

You don't get any passed or failed tests while Sick, unfortunately. I've been ticking them off on sheets as they happen but until you guys get rid of sick you're stuck.
