Ambergris

Spell save vs 13 (8, + charisma mod +3, proficiency +2). Gauntlets take half damage from save.

He certainly is surprised hoping more of the platemail doesn't suddenly animate to bash him.
He invokes a spectral gauntlet of his own, a chill boney hand cantrip that grasps and squeezes, thumb wrestling and punching the iron fists with his own necrotic power.

Ambergris cast Chill Touch [1d20+5]=14+5=19 skeletal hand fights gauntlet [1d8]=2

If he can use any dodge action to up his AC he will, bobbing and weaving like a prizefighter.

(Dmg 14? The spell says it does 1d10 dmg; am I missing something?)
sorry for the confusion, Tommy has the eldritch invocation of "Agonizing blast" which adds his charisma modifier (+4) to the eldritch blast damage

Agonizing Blast (PHB110)
Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you cast eldritch blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.

Altar of Bane
Initiative Order: Ambergris (17), Tell (12), Tommy (8), Banites (6)

Surprised and hoping the entire suit of platemail doesn't suddenly begin to attack him, Ambergris invokes a spectral gauntlet of his own which grasps and squeezes, punching and thumb-wrestling the iron gauntlets, doing some damage.
But not enough to stop them from delivering a one-two punch to the sea captain's head and face!

Lesh charges through the water and grabs at the woman, a spell bursting from his lips, "Ka-Ka-Ka-llagar!"
The woman anticipates his move and dodges his talons...and then his bite as Lesh goes for her hand.
"My dark god protects me, lizard man," she hisses, raising her mace...but Tommy fires another eldritch blast directly at her...and somehow he misses too!

"And I claim your hairy ass for my master!" she screeches and crushes Tommy in the side of the head with her mace!

BANE!! comes a roar as the armored fighter charges into the fray, leveling a spear at Lesh. But the cleric wheels and turns aside the spear thrust as if it were an annoying fly!

Ambergris

I am going to try something a bit different.
Around his torso he carries a hammock/entangling net which he uses to hang up as an ad-hoc bed but it is weighted with hooks so he can cast it as a retarius net & trident gladiator might.

It is geared towards being his pact weapon but he receives that at 3rd level and he is only level two. Which means rather than manifesting such a weapon in his hand and casting it, he has to carry one about and while he is not proficient with it, he throws it at disadvantage.
Hope that explains his actions. So he will cast the net to entangle the attacking gauntlets.

Ambergris to hit with net at disadvanatge [1d20+4]=12+4=16 [1d20+4]=10+4=14

Once trapped he can have advantage to stab them next round.

Tommy spits blood and growls
you little bitch....
as he recovers his composure he continues
you're going to comb my ass before you kiss it and Bane can suck on the other side

he pushes with both hands, claws outstretched as eldritch power pours forth to blast her face

Eldritch Blast- to hit:[1d20+7]=16+7=23 damage:[1d10+4]=8+4=12

OOC:
hey, the Shield spell should have protected tommy from the first attack and make her miss, Shield gives +5 AC as a reaction and retroactively protects against an attack, last round he would have had 20 AC (15 + 5 from shield) so i think he should be at 13/22 not 5/22? still hurt though

Lesh extends his right arm, hand out flat with two claws outstretched and one curled in, and vocalizes his displeasure, "ka-ka-ka bruja! rayo guiado!" to cast Guiding Bolt (again If this hits he will use his Channel Divinity skill for 11 points of extra damage). Then positioning his shield between Kazzira and himself Lesh looks to Tommy and shouts "gar-gar-gar sanar" to cast Healing Word.

Guiding Bolt: [1d20+5]=12+5=17, damage: [4d6]=18
Healing Word: [2d4+3]=6+3=9

Guiding Bolt 1st Level (PHB 248)
A flash of light streaks toward a creature of your choice within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 4d6 radiant damage, and the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage, thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.

Healing Word 2nd Level (PHB 250)
A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains hit points equal to 2d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier (3). This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.

Altar of Bane, Hands of Death!
Initiative Order: Ambergris (17), Tell (12), Tommy (8), Banites (6)

Trying something a bit different, Ambergris grabs the hammock netting from his waist and hurls it at the flying gauntlets. He manages to snag one of them, deflecting them enough that the free gauntlet is occupied with trying to release the other gauntlet; it seems he's bought himself a very brief respite.

"Ka-ka-ka bruja! rayo guiado!"
Lesh says, extending an arm toward the armored warrior. A bolt of light bursts from Lesh's palm and slams the warrior in the chest! He then invokes the power of his god and wracks the man's body with more damage! (29 pts total > damnation!)

You little bitch! Tommy growls, spitting blood. You're going to comb my ass before you kiss it and Bane can suck on the other side!
The Tabaxi extends both hands and a blast of eldritch power melts the flesh and hair off the head of the female fist of Bane! She barely screams as she falls back and dies.
But seeing her fall, sends her companion into a rage!
With a battle cry, the man rams his spear at Lesh's gut...and once again, the cleric avoids the blade with a deft turn!

blood still pouring down his face and worried that he is about to go down for the fight with his current wounds, Tommy moves to take some cover behind the pillar and manages to keep the offensive firing another blast to the armored beast trying to kill his reptilian fried

eldritch blast

Ambergris

Stabs with advantage, though it helps him little, trying to impale the gauntlets on the end of his spear like a couple of flapping sea trout.

Ambergris to hit melee spear [1d20+3]=7+3=10 damage [1d6+3]=3+3=6Ambergris to hit melee spear [1d20+3]=7+3=10 damage [1d6+3]=5+3=8

If he can stamp on the net as well, like trying to put out a fire he will, using that as is move action.

Altar of Bane, Spears of Doom...Dumplings!
Initiative Order: Ambergris (17), Tell (12), Tommy (8), Banites (6)

The slightly entangled gauntlets flap around like a couple of sea trout while Ambergris tries to impale them with his spear. But his efforts are hampered by the barbs in his own netting. One of the gauntlets is free and when the sea captain steps in, it takes a swat at him > but he easily avoids it. Gauntlet attack: [1d20+3]=4+3=7 [1d4+1]=3+1=4

Lesh quickly positions himself between Tommy and the enraged fighter, using his shield as cover. He then chucks a javelin at the warrior, driving it into the man's side as he turns to try to avoid it.
Tommy wipes the blood out of his eyes and steps nearer the pillar, then sends an eldritch blast at the warrior, but misses him by a mile!

The Banite warrior roars in pain and anger and tries to spear Lesh in the face...but misses terribly.

Lesh turns his attention to Yignath extends his fingers in a complicated sign saying, "arde bebe arde," and casting Scared Flame.

Sacred Flame: damage: [1d8]=8
Save DC = 13

Sacred Flame (PHB pg. 272)
Flame-like radiance descends on a creature that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 radiant damage. The target gains no benefit from cover for this saving throw.

Altar of Bane, Eldritch Wizardry
Initiative Order: Ambergris (17), Tell (12), Tommy (8), Banites (6)

Ambergris tries and tries to stab the trapped gauntlet with his spear, but to no avail. The free gauntlet, however, hones in on the aged sea captain and delivers a crushing blow to the side of his head! Gauntlets: [1d20+3]=12+3=15, [1d8+1]=7+1=8

A few feet away, Lesh extends his fingers in a complicated sign, saying "Arde bebe arde..." and a flaming radiance descends upon the burly warrior, who happens to avoid the worst of the damage by flinging himself to the side. Yignath save: [1d20]=16

Tommy feels the warm glow of Lesh's healing and recovers his senses enough to send another eldritch blast toward the man...but having already taken damage from Lesh, the armored man narrowly avoids the Tabaxi's spell!

The warrior, battered and bruised, finally catches Lesh flat-footed and drives his spear deep into the gut of the lizard shaman!

Altar of Bane...What Next?
Initiative Order: Ambergris (17), Tell (12), Tommy (8), Banites (6)

Ambergris summons a magical cold gauntlet to fight those intent of killing him...but his magical constructs have no effect on the gauntlets of steel. In fact, the steel gauntlets ignore the conjured simulacrum, and attack Ambergris, delivering a crushing blow to the side of the aged sea captain's noggin. Gauntlets: [1d20+3]=14+3=17, [1d8+1]=8+1=9 Ambergris falls, hitting the floor hard...and doesn't see the gauntlets return to the suit of armor. (Death save, please!)

A few feet away...while Lesh hesitates, Tommy does not.
Damn you and your rusted bucket, Bane can come and get some if he wants but you're not taking any of us! he exclaims, unleashing another bolt of eldtritch magic into the armored warrior's face.
The blast of power turns the warrior's head completely around on his shoulders, snapping his neck, and killing him instantly!

Suddenly...all is quiet in the altar room...except for the whimpering of the shackled man hanging on the wall.
