I'm not sure I understand. The PCs should have damage listed and AB for each weapon they have. The distinction between primary and secondary is largely just for me, so I can tell what weapon is being used unless the player states otherwise IC. It doesn't have a mechanical impact.

Re: OOC II
OK, wasn't sure if there was something I was missing. Thanks Are we using the default fixed damage or the OSE optional variable damage?

Variable OSE damage.
Re: OOC II
Thanks
Re: OOC II
Makes perfect sense, and I can move the conversation forward without changing anything. I will need some help getting gear written up. Nothing seriously fancy, but Ardath is experienced enough to get working gear for what he needs.thirdkingdom wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2021 5:38 pm Does that make sense? If it happens before play begins you're pretty much clear to do whatever. If it happens once play begins the constraints of the gameworld are in effect.
Re: OOC II
Sheet is posted, still needs some work but you can see where I am going and make any comments.
Could I get a HP roll, level 8 Dervish, toughness (1d8 HD) and Con 13 (+1)
Magic items?

Re: OOC II
At this point the only dervishes that the party has encountered are from the community fo Kimrid, about a day and a half north of Draea and three days north of Alice. THe dervishes serve Mnencir. Here's a relevant post about the temple: viewtopic.php?f=783&t=8786&p=446492&hil ... ir#p446492
One of the former players had a dervish named Zellar; you could be her replacement.
: 1d4+1 2 Starting with 20k gp.
: 8#1d100 71 9 69 46 75 22 31 2
Let's see. That's 1d3 potions, a ring, 1d3 scrolls, no rods/staves/wands (just barely), no misc., no sword (again, just barely), a misc. weapon, and armor.
: 2#1d3 2 3 2 potions, 3 scrolls.
Potions: : 2#1d100 76 64
invulnerability and heroism
Scrolls
: 3#1d100 83 48 26
*Treasure Map (IV)
*Protection from Elementals
*3 spells
Give me a chance to roll the treasure map and the spells out.
Ring, misc. weapon, armor
1-4 OSE Core, 5-6 Advanced:: 3#1d6 6 2 3 3#1d100 10 87 95
Damn. Spear +3
Shield +2
And the ring is . . . actually, it looks like there aren't any rings in the Advanced rules. That's a ring of controlling humans.

Re: OOC II
Excellent. Do you re-roll the stuff I can't use or I just trade/sell it when I have the chance in play? I can't use a shield +2.

No rerolls. It's yours to lend, sell, or gift, as desired.

Thanks
Re: OOC II
The sword we got from the trolls, Gardo wanted it, will we have had time for the priests in Draea to take a look at it?

Re: OOC II
Yes, results of the identification of those magical items will be in the first IC post.

No problems here.

Re: OOC II
I did? Wow, now I know I need to go back and read that set of posts.
So, I stepped away to deal with car windows before some rain hits us and the trolls and sword sorta came back to me. Like the sword was half buried in the falling structure or something?....

Re: OOC II
I think all I have left to do is equipment. Can you look her over and make sure I didn't mess anything up to bad?
Re: OOC II
Looking over the group treasure, I noticed the treatise on Isenden. Looking back in the posts, I totally missed Newton offering it over to Gardo. I feel that Gardo would want to keep that type of info with him, or at least have Mariusz keep tabs on it.

Re: OOC II
Will do!
Re: OOC II
Thanks, I will be back on later tonight to finish equipment and fix up or add anything else I need to.
Re: OOC II
As for anything that Gardo would be doing in the intervening time, he would do a patrol or two with the ironskins (as long as that wasn't an extremely long time), train with Wulfka and Notai, and talk with Mariusz about future plans.
Gardo is still spoiling for a sparring match with the Baron, wanting to test the metal of both men.
Also, I think that Gardo would want to take over the rangers that Telemachus was paying for and commanding (if that is still possible).

Re: OOC II
Sheet looks good. If you'd like you can post in the Meetings thread; your character would arrive at Draea first, where Gardo and Feargus are.
