I cast Control Winds previously which must be at least five plus rounds earlier if not more taking into account the moments between the swooping attacks and now, which in a few more rounds(depending on current windspeed) inhibit flight and missile attacks. Probably not the giants though.
I spent the last round bashing a Sheltke hatchling. So seeing these creatures arrive with deadly intent, I am going to turn a bit wild, biting the baby's head off and taunting the creatures around
me to "come get some!"

Nah Olos draws his bastard sword +2, keeping the loaded crossbow in his offhand, and backstabs H4
triple damage at level 5-8, . Note that striking by surprise from behind also increases the hit probability by 20% (+4 on the thief's "to hit" die roll). thac0 11 +4 = 07

Spearmint - I am going to pause here. Let us review
The first round you spend the time getting woke up and did not have an action but said you cast Control Winds. (So in the summary I noted that you did not get the Control Winds)
In the second round instead of casting Control Winds you used your Javelin
In the third round you moved to find the fallen Sheltke
In the fourth round you beat the baby Sheltke and then posted another action to bind the Sheltke and then posted a third action use another Javelin and bite the head off a baby Sheltke.
So I am going to ignore ALL THREE of the final posts and ask for your action again.

So I am going to ignore ALL THREE of the final posts and ask for your action again.
Siouxsie, from sleeping to present combat:
Qleceec starts to quietly wake everyone and signals them to be silent and dragon coming. Then she moves to some cover away from others so they can't all get hit with the breath weapon at once.
As I was woken as a direct result of another character's action, I responded by posting:
Siouxsie
If its the last thing I do, I am going to Call Lightening upon the beast.
Need more stormy weather. Time to cook up a gale. The druid casts Control Winds.
Why can't she go "oh the dragon come. ffs!" sit up in her sleeping bag and cast this while she puts her boots on. Imagine, "Wake up Lil' Suzi wake up. Wake up Lil Suzi, wake up. The dragon is coming!" Wakes up, casts spell.
Next:
Qleceec tries to wake everyone, and starts with Siouxsie and Garrant. (Those two are awake at this point)
Before any other actions are possible four Shtelke fly over the camp at a height of about 60' and each drop a large rock
So either I can act after being woken (and cast the spell) or the only action I can take is "I wake up" (because
u]Before any other actions[/u] are possible
, the rocks rain down on us. Leaving this rounds action instead as 'Siouxsie wakes up and watches the rocks fall'. But that just really nullifies any motivation to respond to another player's interaction with me and roleplay my character. I am simply not going to post after Qleceec's warning me, 'I wake up' and not offer something more in character action, description, desire, communication.
I think I can rightly act irritated, tired, confused, fearful, determined, proactive. Hence Siouxsie casts the spell.
Everyone can take an action now (which I assume that Siouxsie wants to start casting Control Winds.) and Hex is subject to the roll or being woken up by someone.
My action next is:
Sets one of her enchanted shafts in the ground, angled at a flying creature overhead, triggering it into flight with the words "Kebab it!"
I stand up, grab my shield, the javelins are strapped to it. Take one, say the magic words and point it in the right direction.
Next:
Siouxsie launches one of her precious magic javelins. The javelin skewers the Shtelke critically hitting it for 15 points of damage and killing it. It falls south of the camp.
No other hostile attacks so:
Siouxsie
Goes to check on the fallen Sheltke so that we can catch or restrain preferably any offspring that emerge from the carcass.
Next:
Siouxsie runs to the south looking through trees to find on of the downed Sheltke with the hopes of catching or restraining any offspring. She does make it to one of the offspring. She can see some young are moving but have not yet exited the creature.
I will club senseless the emerging babies in order to restrain them from flying away.
For only Qleceec, Siouxsie, Garrant, Hex and Raffi
Qleceec is focused on her target, Siouxsie getting ready to smash babies and Garrant, Hex and Raffi are looking around.
Why am I only getting ready? Either I was able to cosh one or not. Your update covers the group observations of the next opponents actions. I am in a wood surrounded by trees. I can't see a thing.
So my next action is:
Siouxsie
In the meantime she will stun one of the emerging Sheltke hopefully, binding its legs and wings together with some cord.
Having just hit one senseless last round, I should be able to at string it up this round.
Next:
One of the Hybrids (green dragon body and lion head) comes bounding out of the trees running with a wing assisted leap. It gets next to Qleceec and lets out a large roar. Both Qleceec and Siouxsie need to make a save vs. Paralyzation as the sound was so terrifying. &
After the roar and even with the disorientation, you notice a wave of Shtelke armed with spears (1 each) that spend their action moving up to you, obviously waiting on the roar before moving.
My response: having made the Saving Throw vs paralysis
Uses up the last of her magic shafts, skewering the nearest Sheltke.
The taunting of the Sheltke is just bluster in the face of the enemy after the terrifying noise and their incoming attacks.
Next:
It is now a new round. Do you want a new group initiative? Individual initiative or are you going to act next and we respond?
Hope this follows a logical progression of my actions after each of your updates.
Presently:
Siouxsie: in the woods, in her boots and cloak and bearing shield. Having loosed the last of her magic shafts, she will either draw her blessed Khopesh, cast a spell or take animal form.
Where you are placing the Paralyzation spell? (e.g. where is the 2" x 2" area?)
He isn’t going to cast it after the giants have engaged the party.
Then are Hex and Raffi taking actions? Waiting on you (and if Boff gets back from vacation) to close.
Am kinda finding it difficult to picture the scene to be honest. I get three giants are engaged in the clearing.
There’s a hybrid in the trees with the gaggle of dragon men near the Druid and the Cavalier, is that right? Would the two of them even know about them or specifically what and how many, from this vantage point?
I think Raffi will stay put for now, waiting for his opportunity to pounce, and Hex will cast a mirror image spell upon himself.
I didn’t notice the updates map no.
So the little pair wouldn’t see all those in the trees south of them anyway

In the Jotens - The encounter
Moonday, 10th day of Planting, 597
5th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 59/63)
Androgost (AC 5 [no armor -6], HP 48/65, Armor 23/26)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 45/48)
Garrant (AC 8, HP 49/50)
Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Boff (AC 7 [no armor 5], HP 38/61)
Frannie (AC 9 [no armor 4], HP -1/26)
Qleceec does not get affected by the secondary effects of hybrid's roar and is only deaf. She attacks the hybrid for 12 pts and does not fumble (see house rules on avoiding a fumble) on the second attack, just a miss.
Androgost lands a blow on the hill giant nearest him (H1) for 10 points.
Nah Olos moves behind the giant that did not see him. He quietly discards his heavy crossbow and plunges the sword into the giant's back with two hands (remember that one handed the bastard sword damage is the same a long sword - since your roll disagrees with your text I stayed with the roll.). The giant is very badly wounded, but still alive.
Siouxsie also does not get affected by the secondary effects of hybrid's roar and is only deaf. Siouxsie fires the last of her Javelins at a Shtelke, but alas it misses its target and does not land true.
Garrant moves up 10 feet and casts his Web spell. The webs are half strength for S1 and S2, but full for S5 and S6.
Hex casts Mirror Image (3 images) and Raffi decides to hold off this round.
Boff was hoping to escape and not have to attack the giants head on. He knows that if he attempts to escape that his cousin, Frannie will be a goner. Boff attempts to attack the giant with his longsowrd and drops the weapon 7 feet to the north. He yells to Frannie for her to escape.
Frannie turns and runs toward the area of Hex, giving her opponent a free attack. She is hit from behind and knocked out.
The Hill Giants continue their attack
H1 takes a wild swing with his club and misses Androgost.
H2 however takes a more controlled swing and hits the dwarf even with his natural dodging ability. Boff takes 7 HP of damage.
H3 takes a step in, roars having take down his first foe and throws his rock at Hex near the tree. The rock hits and destroys one of the images.
H4 is so wounded from the backstab, he looses his attack recovering from the blow.
The hybrid attacks Qleceec (claw/claw/bite). Only one claw makes it through her armor. Qleceec takes 4 points of damage.
Siouxsie is attacked by the two Shtelke (S3/S4) in front of her (claw/claw/bite), and is only scratched by one claw for 3 points damage.
S7 and S8 move up to Garrant, but cannot attack this round
S1, S2, S5 and S6 are all in the web in various degrees of captured.
Hex will cast his paralyzation spell in the square H1 is in, and H3 above it, and the square of the tree behind that, and frannies square.
He will try and retain his paralysing spell in his mind
= success Vs 15 needed.
Raffi will use his time and wait for a giant to approach Hex before attempting a backstab.
