9. Five Months Later
Re: 9. Five Months Later
Bragar- Gragog would you like your wounds healed? You will want to enter the castle fully healed. As it may be days or never that I may be able to heal you again. There was no rest once we were in the castle.

Bragar- Adresses the other clerics and mages in the group. Gentlemen once we are in the castle it will be very difficult obtain our spells. Please if you have the ability to use spells that can protect from the draining abilities of the undead. Also use our healing spells cautiously. My goddess does not give me the ability to turn the undead. Are there any questions.

Re: 9. Five Months Later
After deciding the visit the smithy in the morning, Scarlett will take some candle wax and use it to trace a faint outline upon the entrance door, incanting some verse about 'Samaric angels who encamp around those who fear her'. She turns to the others and states she has cast a 'Glyph of Warding' spell (explosive damage) upon the door frame and that anyone who enters will get more than they bargained for. "Should put an end to any religious cults knocking on doors or those pesky double glazing freaks touting for business."
Re: 9. Five Months Later
Is there any other business before settling in for the night? Are you setting a watch schedule?
FYI, here's the layout of the abandoned town home in which Castran and Bragar have been hiding out. The store is not actually part of the townhouse; it's just part of the space in that plot. It's abandoned, of course. All the windows shown on the map are boarded up. I'm assuming you're all in one of the two bedchambers, except the two bears, who curl up and nap in the central hall.

Castran will take a watch absolutely as well as laying his warding stones routine and explaining then magical wards the two of them have already placed.

Sorry work has been busy.
"Thank You Bragar. I feel much better", says Lar. "I agree perhaps we will wait until morning to see the smithy. I will take a watch just wake me when it is my time."
Lar senses the evil around them and softly says, "Protect us Ohama."

Re: 9. Five Months Later
Scarlett warded the front door down the corridor so I presume Bragar warded the kitchen exit door?
Scarlett feels a bit claustrophobic stuck in a small room surrounded by smelly beasts so to keep her mind on things she will check out the fire chimney in the bedroom. "Who knows perhaps the miserly peasants who lived here hid away there treasures for us to find and keep, err use for the restoration of the village" She will poke around under the hearth even if the others have done so before and check up the chimney for looses bricks and hidden cache. If nothing Scarlett will light a small fire to warm the place, a few embers or glowing coals enough to fan into full flame if we need. She will then roll out her sleeping bag by the fire and busy herself reading through her latest penned psalms and combing the tangles from her scruffy locks.

Re: 9. Five Months Later
"Here Lady Scarlett let me escort you while you investigate", Lar says softly. Before settling down Lar will take the time to clean his armor, weapons and then himself as best he can under the circumstances. He will pray with Priestess Bogdana in the morning before they prepare for the day.
Re: 9. Five Months Later
Bragar- Yes Scarlett every entrance big or small has been warded. You are welcome Lar Bragar goes to his bedroll hidden in the corner of the room. Castran are you putting a illusion up tonight?

Re: 9. Five Months Later
Now that we have more detail on the layout of the townhouse, please remind me what the illusion will be, where it is, what it covers, etc.
Also, I have actions placing two glyphs at the entrance (one on a stone) and one stone at the back door. Is that correct? I'm assuming each is for explosive damage, which is 2 points/level as BtB.
Those with glyphs: make up a "password" and tell it to the party. We'll play that if your character moves across the location of a glyph and forgets to say the password (because you, the player, forget, for example), the glyph goes off.

Re: 9. Five Months Later
honestly I don't really much care. Whatever illusion you think would stand a chance. Or not to bother with it if it doesn't.
Greys Campaign.
Re: 9. Five Months Later
It may stand a chance, but I won't make up an illusion. If you want it, describe it.
