Elusev rushes in behind arn, veering left and heading more into the room, doing a quick check of the surroundings. If the kobold that Arn is fighting still lives or he see's any more enemies on his second look into the room then we will let loose another arrow.

Long Bow(Specialized), To Hit:[1d20+4] = 20+4 = 24, Damage: S/M[1d6+1] = 2+1 = 3, L[1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

Dungeon Master:

After Procyon & Arn miss hitting the Kobold Guard with their Weapons, Elusev's arrow scores true & drops the guard!

Elusev sees no other Kobold guard in the mess hall.

Party Actions!

You have the Cooshee down near the the south door at the end of the hallway which is partly opened, where the racket was coming from, which is quiet now.

Elusev goes to get his arrows back from the two kobolds in this room and the two dead in the hall.

[1d6] = 2, [1d6] = 5, [1d6] = 1, [1d6] = 4

Once he recovers the two working arrows he will look to the group, "Let us follow the Cooshee and find it's elven master before anything else attempts to kill us, yes?" If there is no opposition he will lead the group through the south doors, first opening the doors more and looking inside with the door as cover.

Dungeon Master:

Elusev can recover the arrows.

As Elusev moves out of the Mess Hall & down the hallway to the south door, he gets behind the door then peers inside the darkened room, to see several Kobold figures with crossbows & half spears.

Elusev then ducks behind the door immediately & Hears a thunk in the door as a flying bolt lodges into it:

Bolt #1: [1d20] = 10 -4 for cover = 6 : A Miss!

Arn moves up and kneels down to one side of the open doorway, trying to cover as much of himself with his dragon shield as possible. 'Here, shoot over me for cover!' He tries to allow enough room for anyone else who wants to enter the room to do so.

If any goblins charge he will attempt to combat them from his position.

Dungeon Master:

Ok with Arn using the Door & his Dragon shield for cover for Elusev while Teladrin hugs the side of the doorway.

Arn pretty much swings his Long Sword at air to keep the Kobolds from advancing:
Long sword: [1d20+1] = 9+1 = 10; Damage (s/m): [1d8+1] = 4+1 = 5, (l): [1d12+1] = 10+1 = 11

it's a -4 to hit on Elusev & -2 on Teladrin.

2 more bolts come flying, one on Elusev & one on Teladrin:

Elusev: [1d20] = 3 - 4 = -1 : Fumble: [1d100] = 30 : Stumbles: Dex Check [13] = [1d20] = 20 Fail: Stunned for: [1d6] = 5 Rounds !

Teladrin: [1d20] = 11 - 2 = 9 : Missed!

Teladrin's 2 shots will hit their targets, dropping one! The other hitting the stunned Kobold as he stumbled!

Seeing the paladin rush forward Elusev uses the shield wall to his disposal and rushes behind him, firing off two arrows periodically as they make their way down.

Dungeon Master:

Tuireann investigates the two Kobold Bodies in the mess hall & will find nothing of value on them(this will take him 2 rounds at least).

A Quick Searching of each 10 feet of space in the mess hall, will take 1 round per 10 feet.

As Arn Rushes forward, with blade swinging & missing yet again, Elusev scores 2 arrow hits, dropping 2 more of the Kobold Guards!

Elusev notes there are 5 more Kobolds in the room, one of which the Cooshee dog is now on.

Arn can see somewhat in here from lanterns shining in from the doorway, thanks to Cayley & Procyon.

Now that the party has entered the room they notice the Kobolds have switched to using Short Spears:

Combat Initiative:
Party: [1d6] = 6
Kobolds: [1d6] = 4

Kobolds Strike first!

Kobold actions & Stats:
Kobold #7: Attacking Cooshee Dog: [1d20] = 5 : This is a Miss!
Kobold #8: Attacking Elusev: [1d20] = 2 : This is a Miss!
Kobold #9: Attacking Arn: [1d20] = 3 : This is a Miss!

Arn takes a swing at kobold #9—if he manages to bring it down, he'll try to rush on to meet kobold #13, so that the others have more room to move around.

Elusev takes a step back from the attacking Kobold as Arn engages with it. He knocks another arrow and fires it at the closest Kobold.
