I am also always an avid fan of story time!
Anything fun happen while in germany? Kidnapped and forced to compete in a drinking contest? Participate in a street parade of techno music?

Gildas' Obit notice says 2:30pm after the Wake.GreyWolfVT wrote:The Doctor "So when do we start this reading of the will and so forth?"
Since the Ranger - Teladrin Vinquin [Elven Male] played by ArtoriasAbyssWalker has not posted in over a week i think i shall
now do a random D10 roll using the listing of players in that Topic & the player that comes up gets to Role-Play Teladrin until/if ever ArtoriasAbyssWalker comes back.
ArtoriasAbyssWalker has not even received the Obit notice yet! It's still out there waiting for him!
I rolled a: [1d10] = 9 so NeoPlasmaVice can take over Teladrin if he wants.
Just play Teladrin as a quiet type for now.
Then i will have Berenion Galithil show up.
I have sent a pm to the game's maker about the inheritances since two of them do not have pictures in the module, which i am guessing was left out due to space restraints.
I am hoping they have pictures of them they can send me.
I am guessing i will hear from them either Sunday or Monday as they get back from vacations.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
I'll be glad to quietly roleplay for AAW for the time being. However, taking into consideration that I am totally new to role playing, I will take any objections into considerations.
Do I introduce him into the group? What should I do now?
On the other note I am surprised that you can contact the makers of this game personally. Would that make 1A: The Inheritance a homebrew?

Since you set up Teladrin as not being seated at the table as of yet, just go from there!
I would say a homebrew, that finally made it to mass production & global release as a real game module!

I see. Ill try to introduce AAW's character onto the table. For his character's point of view I will be switching to bold statements in order to differentiate.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Uh, after seeing a high frequency of posts like these:
I have sent a pm to the game's maker about the inheritances...
I had happened to come upon text that there was snow on the ground, while looking over the game module.(...) At first i had thought the location was more like Florida or Mexico in December.
So far as i know of; 4 of the main cities of the Twelve Kingdoms appear to be: (...) I am looking into it, however the fellow is on vacation now.
I'm getting curious: are we part of a playtesting team (guess not - as the module has been released), or for some other reason in a scenario where relevant game information isn't available while we're playing?Maybe late this coming weekend i will at least have more info....
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
They decided to cut back on some information to simplify the game play.
This way it can be more like a One-Shot even though it is the very tip of the ice berg for a larger campaign.
That said i can see them releasing a Twelve Kingdoms Guide book which also has the history of the Cadarn (civilization prior to the Twelve Kingdoms), Maps of the 12 major cities, Maps of smaller towns & villages, listings for new monsters & items, pre-gen characters, etc.
They are watching the game to see how it goes as they are always looking for ways to fine-tune things to make it better.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
I have to say I am slightly confused by the apparent Berenion entry that never was - what happened there? Why did Neo post as 'Dungeon Master' anyway?
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Ok, that post is a combined posting of Berenion's entry into the Banquet Hall & a post by NeoPlasmaVice.saalaria wrote:I have to say I am slightly confused by the apparent Berenion entry that never was - what happened there? Why did Neo post as 'Dungeon Master' anyway?
Thus, why it starts with my Dungeon Master Posting, then NeoPlasmaVice's Original post.
Berenion walked in & went to one of the tables near the entry & started greeting & chatting with them.
Then Procyon, announces he has a story to tell.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Ok, just to clarify something about the module saying none of the characters having horses & not living in the city of Caer Brennau & not having seen Gildas Trahern for at least 2 years:
I figured 5 normal days between the death & burial.
Since the module says no one has a horse, (not even the Paladin???, Ok the Paladin decided to walk for the exercise & to reminisce about Gildas on the way to the funeral) ,
it's obvious they have to travel by foot.
So, yes they all would have to live in small communities no more than 2 days walk from Caer Brennau so that they get
to the funeral in time.
Of course, this brings up that the module mentions that none of the characters live IN Caer Brennau nor have they
seen Gildas for at least 2 years (Gildas was probably away most of the time & or the characters themselves had other
business to attend to).

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Perhaps the invitation we received had a word of recall on it which brought us here. Get home, well that is up to us.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
or perhaps we were 2 days away oddly enough travelling here to see Gildas when the messenger met us on the road.
