he stares Hildr straight in the eyes.

Hildr

"You never saw him with anyone other than Ernal, I am thinking you aren't telling me the truth. Perhaps I should summon the High Priest, he did want to make sure that the questioning was very through."

Sarin probes further "Oh he did a whole lot more than tutoring. Were you aware of his other activities? Of lets say a darker nature?"

He looks at Sarin

What Cillian did was his business, I did not make it mine. I have nothing more to say

Sarin "I don't believe you. How about we get the high priest in here."

he simply stares at you coldly

Sarin steps into the other room "Perhaps we should get the high priest this ones being difficult."

"Agreed, you two stay and I will be right back."

Hildr will step outside and send for the High Priest "Tell him we have someone we think knows something and is being uncooperative. It is possible he is just someone who idolizes Cirillian but we can't be sure."

after about 15 minutes the high priest shows up.

I bring ill news, the three Josiah Clement, Russell Lore, Philius Standard, are all dead. they were the other 3 with ernal.

The other 2 named have gone missing. I was informed you have someone with information.

Sarin "Yes and he is very tight lipped your holiness."

"Possibly, he knew Cillian and has praised him and his actions several times. Apparently Cillian has warned him that myself and Sarin are not to be trusted. I get the feeling he is hiding something but can't be sure."

Sarin "I have a great feeling he is withholding information, possibly lying to us." leads the high priest to where the acolyte is being held "This is him."

The priest enters the room.

darrin isn't it.

darrin we will be asking you some questions, do not try to be deceitful it will be of no avail.

The priest chants some holy words.

Ask your questions

Sarin repeats some of the questions "Were you aware of Cillian's other activities that were not related to this temple? Were you aware of any of his dealings with other outside this temple?" then throws in a new one "Who did Cillian tell you to trust? And were you working with him in his less desirable deeds?"

darrin seethes

Cillians business was his business alone and I knew nothing of what he did when not at the temple.

He told me to trust no one, and he did not need my assisatnce.

The high priest steps up.

you are lying to us darrin, at least partially. When you said it was his business and you knew nothing i saw your aura, you lie. even if you did tell the truth about offering him no assistance.

Sarin looks to Darrin "Please tell us the truth of what you know and we can stop the questioning Darrin. What was the truth about the cult, did you play a part in it? What is their mission or goal?"

I don't know anything about a cult..... all i know is cillian is far more powerful than any of you knew. He used to laugh at you all, acting like you were teaching him something. Sometimes he would leave at night, he was so good he could escape and no one would know. he told me he had a place of his own outside of the city, and that one day he would take me and show me.

Sarin sighs "Well he didn't know then that I followed him one night and know he was leaving the temple. But that is beside the point. Is there anything more that you could tells us about the cult, Cillian or anyone else that was working with him that might help?"
