If Kormak needs to hold his charge until we do ranged attacks he will do so.

If Borum is hit he will turn to face his whip assailant, however if missed he will continue his charge
Re: Chapter 11: Anxiously Contemplating the Hobgoblins!
Idonea continues her charge along the northern wall, barreling towards the crossbow-weilder behind the table, but confronting any combatant who might assail her first.
Ewat aims along the north wall, trying to take out any of the hostiles lined up there.

Lutha
keeps an eye to the rear. "So that too many cooks don't rush in where angels fear to tread, you know, he he!"
Wolfram
tries to suss out if he's got any opportunity for combat forward. But throwing an axe from where he stands would be aerodynamically non-rewarding, indeed boring, he decides.

Mort just stays back out of melee and continues his ranged support.
Crossbow, Light Hit[1d20 +3] = 6+3 = 9 Dmg[1d4] = 4

Reposting this:
Archers Covering the chargers:
Wexley: To hit: [1d20+1] = 13+1 = 14, damage with short bow: [1d6+2] = 2+2 = 4
Ewat begins the volley:
Short-range Bow: [1d20+3] = 13+3 = 16 Damage: [1d6x2] = 3x2 = 6
Lutha: distracted by the flickering shadows caused by the volleyed torch, fires his sling ....at the cave ceiling!
Sling to hit: [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, damage with bullet vs S/M opp: [1d4+2] = 3+2 = 5 / damage with bullet vs L opp: [1d6+2] = 4+2 = 6 "What goes up can't be choosers, as everyone knows"
Chargers:
Borum: charges in at the signal...
To Hit: [1d20+1] = 7+1 = 8, damage with Hammer: [1d4+2] = 1+2 = 3
At the last moment, Idonea stows her fork and draws her sword for the charge:
Sword s/m: [1d20+1] = 14+1 = 15 damage [1d8+2] = 1+2 = 3
Maya: Longsword: [1d20] = 14 Damage: S/M[1d8+1] = 1+1 = 2, L[1d12+1] = 6+1 = 7
Victor: Short Sword: [1d20] = 9 Damage: S/M[1d6] = 4, L[1d8] = 6
A torch is tossed into the room, the 2 Hobgoblins currently stay put behind torture implements, a rack about 30 feet straight in & an iron maiden about 40 feet in the north east corner.
The chargers charge, the arrows arrows flies & then we roll to see for surprise as 2 whips try to snag 2 of the charges from the right hand side of the room not visible off the passage.
Party: [1d6] = 4
Hobgoblins: [1d6] = 3
No one is surprised but the whips get to try to hit first!
Hobgolin #1: Attacks Kormak with whip: [1d20] = 20
Hobgolin #2: Attacks Borumwith whip: [1d20] = 20
Ha Ha! This means both Borum & Kormak were Snagged with whips!
Knocked & Stunned for:
1d6: 1-3 = 1 Segment : 4-6 = 2 segments
Borum: [1d6] = 3 : 1 Segment
Kormak: [1d6] = 3 : 1 Segment
Kormak's last 2 rolls won't count here as he was stunned!

Re: Chapter 11: Anxiously Contemplating the Hobgoblins!
Dungeon Master:
Ok when Victor decided he was not going to be a leader in the charge i just randomly plucked Kormak to be in his place.
Mort is not dead here! He fired off a bolt i see then missed is all. I'll have this take place during the initial charge, it's the beginning of combat now, so he will get to fire again.
The Kobolds on Kormak & Borum get a free hit during Round 1: Segment 1 here.
I am looking about Lutha's Bolt Injury right now, which happened with the 6 hobgolins guarding the entry into here with crossbows.
I think i will make a new map show the others moving towards the other 2 kobolds so everyone can see whom is engaging who.
Some can stop to attack the kobolds on Kormak & Borum.

Dungeon Master:
Hmmm, ok i could not find where Lutha was hit during the previous exchange with the 6 crossbow firing Hobgoblins.
It appears i may have mixed that with Wexley 2 HP Bolt injury which Did Happen.
So Lutha is not injured.

The hauberk has been listed there for a few months, now. Is it not showing up when you look at it?PyroArrow wrote: Ewat: AC 5 (Chain Hauberk) or 4 (Shield) or 2 (-2 Dex Bonus) : 3 / 6 HP *UPDATE your Character sheet inventory to show the Chain Hauberk!

Maya slices at the nearest creature.
Longsword: [1d20] = 19 Damage: S/M[1d8+1] = 3+1 = 4, L[1d12+1] = 12+1 = 13
Victor will starting running into the room and banking right, intent on flanking HG#2. If he makes it there before it is killed he will thrust into it.
