Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Passing close to Elanriel whispering,They have been gone for some time, what is your assessment? Placing herself so as to be able to see the prisoners as well pay attention to the conversation.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Urtesi staggers under the onslaught of the monster, but the claws and fangs merely scrape the plates of his armor. He then swings the unwieldy sword once more to keep the beast occupied.

Elanriel
Elanriel frowns."It'th probably nothing," she whispers back to her friend, pitching her voice so only Delsenora can hear. "It wath thome way back to the door, and they may need time to explore whatever lieth beyond it. But, I too grow a little worried. What thould we do? We cannot leave the prithonerth unguarded."

Trist backs out with the group if they retreat from the beast.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Egon finds no traps, hears no noise other than his fellows and himself, and finds no lock to pick open on the secret door. However, there is no obvious way to open it that the dwarf can see.

Egon
"Looks safe, but no idea how to open it. Maybe bring the sword over to it and try touching it to the door. Do you want to take a look Xlore?"

Xlore
The high elf raises his eyebrows at Egon. "Uhm.. Sure, I don't mind taking a look." responded Xlore as he enters back into the room. The high elf examines the secret door to see if there are any traps or locks that he can attempt to pick.
/ooc - Does the secret door have any traps or locks?

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Urtesi nods to Egon.
"It is worth a try." He approaches the door, holding the sword. Pushes the door on either side, assuming the hinges are hidden. If nothing happens, tries touching the door with the blade and the hilt.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Xlore much like Egon finds no traps to remove and that the secret door has no lock to pick or any obvious doorknob to open it by.
Urtesi holds the sword to the door nothing happens.
Trist points out the the only thing she noticed was the outlines of a door no obvious hinges, locks, doorknob, or keyhole.
hate to state the obvious here but nobody has tried searching for a mechanism to trigger the door, or given any open doors attempt.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Egon on the first try fiddles around and triggers the door open a hidden button that blended in with the wall depresses and opens the door into a small room similar to the treasure room you found the bandits in. Inside the bare chamber are two suits of chain mail, one suit of dwarf-sized plate mail, and four shields, on stands. All of the armor looks in good condition.

"Is that detect magic still going? This stuff looks valuable, maybe even magic."
He will examine the armor best he can.
