Silly question time: is the bit where it says "Clearing", the actual clearing? Or is that off the map? (Sorry, the arrow for North has me a bit confused. It's "I'm down to 1hp!
" paranoia. )
The edge of the clearing is another 50 feet or so to the north of TK, in the direction of the arrow.
Sorry for the confusion.

The Knife
Once his ears tell him that he seems to have gained a few extra yards, The Knife changes course again. He picks another big tree and swings around the base, aiming for an angle that would head toward the cliff face.

Blood Yellow
Moonday, 22nd of Goodmonth
Mid Afternoon, Sunny, Hot, Humid, Buggy
Elnaerel smacks the beast with her flail, enraging the monster even more and causing it to smack her back pretty hard.
7 dam Keg uses the break from dodging meaty fists to stick his sword into the fleshy thing nearly to the hilt. The monster roars in pain, but somehow stays on its grotesque bare yellow feet. Darklin steps up swinging two blades now, nearly finishing the brute off with another massive gash from his longsword.
Even though the jungle ogre is now badly injured, Keyon still misses his mark with his rear attack. Whats's worse, the ogre now knows the thief is behind him, marking him as a possible target if it lives long enough. Feanol watches the surrounding area, wondering how their gnome is faring all alone against the last monster.
TK zigs and zags through the thick underbrush, just able to stay out of the reach of his massive pursuit. The ogre spots his tiny target again when he turns towards the cliff face, bounding after the gnome with the skills and grace of a bumbling oaf.
Suddenly, the pair of smelly, red eyed, yellow monsters start grunting loudly and shouting to each other in some strange broken tongue as they continue to fight and chase.

The Knife
Arriving at the cliff-face sooner than expected, The Knife intends to turn right, back towards his party. But movement out of the corner of his eye shows him that the ogre is positioned to cut him off if he goes that way. So he turns left instead, heart pounding and lungs bursting.

Elnaerel, though severly injured, will try a last hit at the ogre before retrating to the cliff.
Morning Star - To hit [1d20] = 5; Dmg S/M [2d4] = 4 L [1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2
I guess it's possible hit first and move second in the same round, right? If so, her actions will be as described.

Feanol
If I can move and throw into melee without having an equal chance of hitting party members
Feanol will step a bit closer to lessen the range then fire her two daggers at the beast.
If I can not fire and move but the firing into melee is possible without extreme danger to the party
Feanol will fire two of her daggers over the parties head at the great beast.
Dagger 1:
[1d20] = 12
Damage:
[1d4] = 1
Dagger 2:
[1d20] = 19
Damage:
[1d4] = 4

Keyon
Growling at his failure to connect, the elf weighs his options. He can do the sensible thing and retreat to avoid almost certain death, or...
With a howl of battle fury, he falls on the beast with a downward stroke of his blade--
To-Hit: [1d20 + 1] = 2+1 = 3, Damage: [1d12 + 1] = 7+1 = 8
Sigh. And falls on his face. I hate the dice roller. Truly.
If any movement is left him, the elf will dance as far away from the mighty ogre as possible.

Unless there is some rule I am missing, there is no movement allowed after an attack in 1E.
Blood Yellow
Moonday, 22nd of Goodmonth
Mid Afternoon, Sunny, Hot, Humid, Buggy
The badly outnumbered and badly injured ogre continues growling at his kin while the group hacks at the bloody yellow monster. It rears around to attack the thief at its back, but Keyon is able to deftly duck the heavy fist. Though most of them are unable to hurt the thing in return, both of Darklin's blades draw blood, pain, anguish, and eventually death to the huge beast. It drops to the jungle floor with a loud thud just as the ogre chasing TK deviates from its path, now charging loudly at the larger group instead.
Seeing the approach of the second uninjured ogre, Feanol steps forward and launches 2 daggers at the thing, one of them sticking deeply into its shoulder, drawing a loud groan of pain. Before Darklin has a chance to assess his recent kill, he is thumped in the back of his head by a blow that almost drops him.
5 dam Still rather injured, Elnaerel looks for a spot to exit the melee, thinking about moving towards the cliffs and wondering what has happened to little TK.
The gnome is glad he is able to escape his immense pursuit, darting to the left at the cliff face and eventually entering the ogres clearing. The area of cleared trees and brush is not expansive, but the ogres have created themselves a cozy little living space here. Three large tree trunks have been propped up against the cliff wall, and along them are laid several other trees and bushes, making a rather large open walled lean to that keeps the area under the covering dry. There are several bundles of a rather smelly plant matter spread throughout the clearing as well, being used for seats and a table, but also stacked around a smoldering fire pit ringed with stones. The pungent odor of the plants is also coming from the smoke exiting the dying embers, likely indicating that the bundles are being used as fuel for the fire as well as furniture. TK doesn't spot anything of value in the clearing, but there are 2 leather sacks nearby that might have once been backpacks.

The Knife
The Knife listens for sounds of pursuit from the ogre. When he hears nothing, he wonders for a moment if the ogre has tripped and fallen down. "I bet I'll hear him any second...Any second ...Any...second..."
The Knife looks back at the edge of the clearing. " Where's he gone? Is he trying to trick me? How is that supposed to work? He stops chasing me so I go and look for him? That's a pretty confident bluff for an ogre." His ears straining to pick up unusual noises, The Knife catches what sounds like shouting and noises of combat, muffled by the enveloping vegetation.
"That must be the others! I'd better get back to them." The Knife starts to head back towards the sound of fighting. Just to be sure , he strikes a path that steers clear of the last spot he saw his yellow-skinned pursuer.

Elnaerel, now that she's away from the combat, will take a moment of respite to heal herself.
Cure Light Wounds: [1d8] = 2
This f$%&ing dice roller is getting on my nerves!
She wonders where The Knife might be, but doesn't want to leave her companions in the midst of battle. What to do?
Since I've taken my action, I'll wait till next round to make a decision.

Blood Yellow
Moonday, 22nd of Goodmonth
Mid Afternoon, Sunny, Hot, Humid, Buggy
Elnaerel steps away from the melee to call on Ehlonna for aid, healing a small portion of her wounds.
The droopy faced yellow ogre with the bloodshot eyes starts to get mad, his huge fist just missing a second shot at Darklin's head. The spellsword backs up and digs into his pouch of spell components while Keg takes his place with a battle cry and another damaging slash to the beast. Keyon and Feanol throw daggers high at the large monster, trying to avoid hitting their friends. Each of them sticks the beast once.
TK starts making his way back towards his friends again, avoiding the same path he took into the clearing. He makes it back close enough to see the others fighting the last of the three ogres, and with all of them still standing, apparently winning the battle. Darklin tosses a pinch of beach sand into the air, hoping to put this ogre to sleep just as Feanoll did to the first brute, but the mage is confounded to find that his enchantment fails to bring the thing down.
The badly wounded monster roars loudly, but his bark seems a bit worse than his bite when he nervously looks around for an escape path away from the party's stinging steel.

The elf readies a second dagger and crouches low, ready to spring aside and let fly if the beast approaches his position. He watches warily, coiled tight like a spring.
