How does Egon try to wipe the slime off? What does he use to try and remove the slime?

Egon

He was using his axe to scrap it. He is going to stop that and dig his oil out and pour it on the slime on himself and then try and light it with his flint & steel.

Egon manages to scrape the slime off with his axe. No further injury is done to him but looking up at the ceiling he knows anyone going in or out is at risk of getting slime on them.

Delsenora

"I will use that desk chair from the study, and stand on it, then burn the slime with my produce flame spell."

She turns to leave and retrieves the chair. Putting it near where the slime is on the ceiling, she then casts her spell. Standing on the chair, she reaches up and

carefully keeping her hand near the celing, starts buring the slime until she can't reach anymore. WHen it is burnt as far as she can go, she climbs down and moves

the chair to be able to get the rest of the slime. She will repeat this a few more times if she has to.

Delsenora gets the desk chair from the study stands in a safe location in the archway to the bathroom door open and casts produce flame and works slowly forward with assistance of the chair being moved for her and burns all the green slime on the ceiling. Now it is safe for all to enter and leave the bathroom area without risking getting slimed in the process.

A sunken bath of marble dominates the room, and the walls are covered with blue and green enameled tiles. A quilted bathrobe hangs on a peg, and you see copper urns, a table with soap and some vials, and a pile of towels. There is a commode in the room. That is it. Nothing more is found in the room.

Therick Ulrazor: Sylvan Elf - Magic-User - Evoker - AC 10 - Hit Points: 7 / 8

Therick says, "So, otherwise for the green slime it's a normal bathroom."

Taps on the door directly north and says, "Time to check this door out now."

Motions trap checkers to the door.

No traps are found, the door is locked but Egon is unable to pick the lock open. Egon is able to heat absolutely nothing coming from the other side of the door. However he does notice in his checking that there is a light coming from under the door. It's a similar light to a lantern but softer.

Elanriel

Elanriel wasn't able to help herself and fussed a little over the placement of the chair and whether Delsenora was safe while she burned off the green slime from the ceiling.

When it's all over, she is relieved that they have resolved the situation without anybody being hurt. Geez! Green slime! Whatever next, she thinks. Having no torches, flint, oil or magic to start a fire, she'd felt mostly helpless and is once again thankful that she has able companions to sort things out.

She returns to her position at the rear and keeps lookout.

"Go ahead" he nods at Egon. "But better not go in there just yet. Each room so far has contained something deadly. If it looks like it does not contain anything interesting we can just move on. Can always come back later."

Egon busts the door open. Yes 12 is correct per the STR chart in the PHB.
This is a comfortably decorated room, with fair carpets and furnishings and a pair of beds. Beside each bed is a small table with a lamp, a goblet, and an urn. The west wall has a tapestry showing elves frolicking in the woodlands. There is a brass gong on a stand by one bed. The room appears to be for guests to stay in. The lamps on the tables are lit or so they appear as if they are lit yet no smoke comes from them like a standard lantern would. It is quite possible that they are magic lamps/lanterns.
