Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis(Crow) Cautiously stalks forward a few feet, straining his ears for any sounds. If he hears nothing he will motion for the rest of the group to move forward, once he makes sure that the prisoner is gagged and cannot yell out he quietly and simply says, "Bring the prisoner, light a torch."

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Moving ahead slowly the passage leads to a chamber. The chamber has eathen walls, the ceiling is shored with timbers. The party soon learns of why there is very few bandits down below. In the far end stands a troll standing guard near the far wall. So far the party has not been spotted by the Troll. In the corner is the troll’s sleeping area and a locked trunk [NW upper corner].
Troll is marked with a green T red dot is the party.

Canis(Crow) Speaks in a hushed tone, "Let's lure the creature into this tunnel, spread the oil out over the ground. When it comes we throw a torch down and roast it alive." He looks at the rest of the party members, giving them questioning looks for his plan, seeing if anyone has any other plan or if everyone is good with his.

Arastor nods in agreement to Canis's suggestion. "That sounds like a good idea. Once in the oil slick, we can confront him with flaming arrows. But we have to draw his attention without drawing attention to ourselves. We don't want him to summon aid from above."

Canis(Crow) thinks for a moment then nods to Arastor. Speaking in hushed tones, "Spread the oil, I'll see what I can do about drawing his attention."
With that he walks back towards the gagged prisoner, kneeling down and whispering to them man.
After whispering that he looks the gagged bandit in the eyes, waiting for a response.

Shay donates her oil flasks to the cause and helps pour the oil in the narrow tunnel. She then steps as far back into the secret room as she can and waits to loose her Magic Missiles at this horrific beast.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
The oil is poured in a "strategic" manner Canis is confused and talks about an ogre to the gaged man to which he gets a puzzled look from the gaged man. The plan is set, the trap under way, now just for the lure. The troll watches the wall with dumb interest and then starts to hop from foot to foot apparently eager for something to enter so it can have some play time.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Alright so using the tied up bandit to try and lure the dumb troll over to the oil slick appears to work the troll hears gaged "sounds" and goes to investigate but reaches the area near the tunnel and realizes it can't fit. Strangely smart for a dumb troll or perhaps the welts on its head tell the truth of the story the troll must have learned the hard way. The troll starts to turn and begins to slip it smacks it's head into the tunnel wall/ceiling makes some sounds like perhaps it is cussing at the cave in it's own tongue it runs it's head and starts to slip and slide some more landing on it's back.
