Has anyone tried out any of the Star Trek fan audio dramas? Apparently the CBS compliance issue only affects fan films, so audio dramas are still able to go forward at full speed.

I haven't found any for the Original Series era though. They all seem to be either TNG-era, or the period between the movies and TNG. There's one though, Star Trek: The Continuing Mission, which follows a crew from the Motion Picture era who have been timewarped into the Next Generation era. Seems interesting.

It was pretty incredible, thanks.
How was your vacation? Welcome back.
It was pleasant enough, thanks. It wasn't much of a vacation, unfortunately—the main purpose for going out was to help my parents get things situated with my grandfather, who's had a rapid drop off in health recently—and somehow I timed the trip so poorly that I had two project deadlines due right on the last day of my trip!

But it was still very pleasant. They live in the middle of Hot Springs National Park, AR. It's a beautiful area with a wonderful, quaint little friendly town that drips with history. One of those places where you can't help but unwind and relax. If you're ever traveling through Arkansas, I highly recommend Hot Springs to everyone.
That's great. The National Parks system is the best!

Hi Star,
Is the side panel outside the room in the hallway, or inside the room? Thanks.

Apologies for the ambiguity. It's in the hallway, posted next to the door.

We see the whole room?
None of it is obscured by anything, correct? Just want to be sure what I'm looking at and that there are no other doors here. :)

Yep, you can see into the whole room, with nothing obscured. If there's a door, it's hidden behind the wall-to-wall computer machines.

Cool. Wasn't sure what that ovular shadow might have been, or if it was blocking the "back" of the room or something. :)
Thanks.

Did the hemispheres do anything or change at all during the whole technicolor display?
How long before the hum returned, and got to its regular volume/tone of hum?

Sorry, I was vague there. The lights did seem to generate at least in part from the hemispheres.

After one combat round the hum has not yet returned to its regular volume & tone. You can wait it out to see if/how long it takes to return to what you were hearing before.

Hi Starbeard,
Do all these doors open automatically, like doors on the Enterprise?

Sorry, eyeskipped over this one.

No, the doors here are opened using a button panel on the side of the door. The same button opens and closes the door.

Edit: However, they will automatically close after about 1 round if no one is standing near them.
