Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
The only notable features of this chamber are several long streaks of old, dried blood leading to the door directly ahead of you in the otherside of the room. It's almost as if a bloodied body had been dragged along. Other than that this room is completely empty aside from another set of stairs in the north end of the room that lead up to probably the upper level of the fortress.

Zylore
The ranger ventures inside, following the blood trail, looking for possible tracks.
He makes it to the other door and listens.

Delsenora & Elanriel
Delsenora and Elanriel continue the job of guarding the rear. Since Del did not get any clue from looking at the stonework, her feet are moving in the pattern of her dance of concentration.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
The stonework is old, but not made by dwarf hands by the looks of it the stonework is very old made by humans mostlikely.
There is no prints noticable on the stone floor, or in the blood trail.
From the other side of the door you can hear something big probably ogre big. Though the noises it makes aren't any dicernable talking of any sort at least not from what you can hear through a door.

Zylore
The ranger holds up his fist and then motions to his hear, whispering, "I hear something...big. Can't really make it out, but I'm guessing whatever it is won't be glad to see us. Prepare yourselves."

Trist
"Jivet, come to me and perch on my shoulder dear. Looks like we have company coming that might not be friendly.
IF it's big Trist might be able to use her bow without risk to her friends. She swaps her steel for her bow and nocks and arrow.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Moving in towards the door directly across from the stairs the group came in through you pass another door in the southern wall. But the only blood trail is going through where the door is you are already heading towards. Egon checks and it is not locked he goes to open the door and it moves slightly and then stops abruptly like something is wedged under the door handle stopping it from opening. You get the smells of blood, fur, feathers, and straw, but the strongest scent is ogre. You hear some metal noises in the room like a lock or metal door being unlocked and opened, big footsteps leading away from the door you are trying to enter through. Then silence.

Egon
Whispers in Zylore's ear, "Let me take a look at what is holding the door up."
He will quietly see if he can figure out how to open the door enough to allow us in.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
There is just barely enough room to stick your fingers through the crack of the open door feeling around Egon feels something wooden like perhaps the back of a chair wedged under the door handle on the other side. It is at this time the dwarf also hears what sounds like something padding along on four paws the telltale clicking of animal claws moving along on the stone floor, slowly coming towards the door from a distance.

Egon
Egon will remove his hand so it doesn't get bit or smushed.
Whispering, "Animal coming, maybe a dog or wolf of some sort. I will try and force the door on 3."
He holds up his hand and starts counting down to 0 from 3 with his fingers.
He blasts into the door.

Trist
"Be ready Jivet to assist our friends. Jivet perched on Trist shoulder nods she's ready."
Trist bow nocked is ready if she has a clear shot and it's obviously attacking.
