Jakob will spend a few moment assembling a few breaching charges, based on the doors
Frank thinks might need to be opened.
There are iris valves to the outside (tough but breachable with prepared charges) but otherwise there's the (colour coded) hatches between "bulkheads" to tailor charges for.
From my perspective if you have the luxury of time and can inspect the "target" this becomes a mundane task.
Yes to both in this case as you "own" all such door types within your quarters.

Jakob's aware that in the tactical environment most "stateroom" doors could likely be forced by bodily pressure / tools / standard rounds rather than requiring "demolition" per se.

OOC: Where the fun in that?
This is just in case someone who actually knows what they are doing blocks things?. They would expect it to take 6-10 minutes for an entry to be breached, Jakob is cutting that to zero time.

(OOC: I suspect this is another of those occasions where the workmanlike ACR edges the luxury gauss rifle. When engaging in a bit of FISH (Fighting In Somebody's House) the ability to put DS rounds through the walls whilst removing locks / hinges and making partial breaches with HE surely puts the ACR ahead?)

Frank suggests that we keep the doors open during the briefing just in case*, but ensure that there are no distracting activities taking place in the SEMC officers areas.
*and because he's nosy

Frank shrugs
"You have a point, I just assumed they might need that kind of information before building the bombs. Is there anything else I've missed that we need to discuss? There is one unrelated thing I need to bring up before we close the meeting, but only when we're done discussing tonight "
So Boss, what's this "unrelated thing" then?
Frank suggests that we keep the doors open during the briefing just in case*, but ensure that there are no distracting activities taking place in the SEMC officers areas.
If we've still got access to poolside we could detail a couple of bods to relax there with headphones on. Headphones connected to listening/recording gear.

Just like you to note that I have some bugs if that helps. Not great but effective.

Frank
"It's been indicated to me that we can claim salvage rights for the pirate corsair if we tow the line when it comes to the official statement of what happened at Zinderneuf. Here it is..." he presses something on his comms and the following pops up in everyones messages:
"A most successful operation was carried out at and in orbit above the Baronial Guard outpost at Zinderneuf, Inchin. In a joint all arms operation in partnership with pro Imperial indigenous forces (supported by mercenary elements) Imperial Ground forces killed or captured an entire pirate raiding force for no loss and crippled and drove off a pirate corsair vessel which was supporting the raid from orbit".
"It's not exactly the truth, but since the truth will do no favours for anyone I don't have a problem agreeing to it."

Frank agrees that placing a couple of people poolside is a good move.

OOC: Is that a typo, on "Imperial Ground forces..."
Jakob snorted.
"That would make Erica the 'Pro Imperial Indigenous Forces' since we are the mercenary elements. She'd love that, and I'd love it just for that."

Jess reads the text and slowly shakes her head.
This already gone out then, has it? 'Splains Erica callin' us Imperial stooges.
Jess sighs, thinks a moment:
I'm fine with it. Worth it fer the salvage. Gone along with bigger lies, an' at least I'll benefit from this one.

Liv rolls her eyes at the report's content and adds "This is the official version for the Deputy Minister's final report and goes up the chain of command. It is factually correct but for any of you who don't have "self promoting, pole climbing diplospeak" as a second language you'll recall that the "Imperial Ground forces" referred to as present in this engagement was actually just me!"
She sighs and adds "I strongly suspect that, rather conveniently, my contribution will be deemed "classified" so no one can even ask questions. For what it's worth that's not my report. I'm sorry - you all deserve much more credit".

"The money from the salvage is also, no doubt, a sweetener for not getting any credit for the op and a pay-off to stay quiet. If it was for something more serious I would think twice, but as I've already said, nobody will gain anything from the truth getting out, in fact it could make things worse around here"

"Well, here's the next couple of questions," Jakob said. "Sounds like the negotiations are getting serious, and will end soon. What's our exit strategy? The Big Dip signed off on some decent pay, how do we collect? That leads to the second question, fueled by the salvage option. If we have an influx of cash, are we going to increase numbers or focus on gear and training? What type of unit are we building?"
He nodded towards Jess. "If Gaughan recommends someone, then I'm good with it. They proved themselves in the field, but don't have the ability to abort a totally stupid mission. It really depends, again, on what type of unit we are building."

"Good questions. To answer the first I think we need to see how the next few days go. The first two week period is almost up but there options for extending, but I hope they won't be needed. As for the second question, that's a good point for discussion for the trip back. My initial thoughts are we do need to invest in people, equipment and the Bartizan needs money spent on it. While we do need some more people, I'm not sure that's our current focus"

Prerna emerges from her quarters and comes to where Frank and the others are meeting. "Do we have more people to assign to the roof for guard duty? My team has it until dinnertime, but they could use to stand down for a while. Oh, and before I forget to mention it, Kirsten Vitt is definitely Swordie special forces, "

"I need to go back up and check the emplacement, so it may need some work. We also need a standing watch, probably one trooper at a time is fine, especially if we can use the drones again."

OOC: Assume Jakob makes himself and Beau available for going up to the roof to check on things, and then Beau will lead the detail with Jakob observing. No need to RP it, unless there's an issue.

As QM I recommend better equipment. Upgrade the trooper's optics, nice new vehicles, some more Grav-Belts, invest in buildin' up the Bartizan...
But we need more trigger-pullers, and NCOs to lead 'em, too. Get the second pirate G-Carrier up and we've got more lift capability than passengers. Bigger unit can bid fer bigger tickets too.
Jess is happy to let Jakob organise the OP, she's ready for stand-down. Yer need any'v my troopers to pull Stag? Keep everyone's turn short? If so I'll warn off Charlie, Kingy an' Mike. I want 'Arry ter get 'is beauty sleep, he's me driver after all.
