examining the body one would guess this man was killed within the last 12 hours roughly. Then some of you recall the man was at the tavern last night for the bard's concert/show. That would mean yes this man was quite alive at least 8-12 hours ago.

Arastor throws his arms up before anyone else can approach the body. "I need to see if I can get some tracks before others confuse the prints." Arastor will then attempt to pinpoint tracks that belong to this man and his assailant.

Pheras keeps his distance from the body and exclaims, "A wolverine is in this town or maybe the hermit isn't as crazy as we think?"

Rician Lockwindberg - Paladin - AC 3 HP: 12/14:

Rician pauses to wipe the sweat from his brow as he examines the last pit to be dug, to gauge it's readiness, believing it to be already, he then

takes a rest leaning against the pit side, with 3 others, awaiting delivery of the silver tipped traps.....

Meanwhile Rethors men return with the traps made and help place them in the pits back with Rician. They mention seeing the others over by the inn looking at something but they did not stop to ask what it was they were doing.

Rician Lockwindberg - Paladin - AC 3 HP: 12/14:

Rician will help place & set the silver-tipped traps & cover them up & then head over towards the inn to see if any of the party is still around, if not he goes inside, grabs some apple cinder & questions the patrons on what it was that was seen by the Inn.

Rethor finds his way to the party following Krakus "Hmm yes well I knew this man vaguely he mostly stayed with the logging community that we passed but we only saw him here for the entertainment and when he was here for the young ladies. Other than that I know not his name. I don't think he even has any family in the area to notify." the captain of the guard looks a little puzzled as there was not a full moon the night before. "This does feel odd the mangled body looks similar to that of the attacks we had though again it is hard to say as there was nothing remaining of them mostly just blood everywhere and claw marks in blood. This however looks as if a wolf chewed it up and spit it back out."

No druidic magic is found on the dead body.

"These wounds are just.....strange, I can't put my finger on it but something isn't right. The full moon is coming so we have no other choice but to go on with the plan but how about adding a counter measure JUST in case someone in this village is responsible for the attacks?", Pheras is a bit intrigued by the strange wounds.

Arathor nods his head affirmatively when questioned about the tracks. "I think we should at least follow this out while there is still daylight. Krakus, are you with me?"

Krakus- Yes lets gather the group and follows these prints if possible. Rethor if we are not back one hour prior to dusk. I would assemble all the townsfolk in one building for safety.

Canis(Crow) walks up to the group, still watching the other townsfolk. "Bordered the town last night, didn't see anything near the forest proper..." Looking around at the dead villager and everyone gathered around it, "What happened?"
