I say we sneak past and explore the southern passage.

Alanis does not voice his opinion, having busied himself with some internal debate, he follows along with the group however.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Neev ponders the situation for a moment. "But how do you propose we sneak past to explore the southern passage? As I remember it, there is a wide open gap between this passage and that one. It would require a miracle for all of us to make it without being noticed. A miracle or a huge diversion."

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Alanis seems to conclude his debate and joins the parties discussion, "Did anyone see anything that we can use?"

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Lubidius thinks about the situation for a moment and then turns to the spell casters in the group and asks; "Do any of you have any more Silence spells? If so, can they be cast on an object or person? If they can; I'll move as stealthily as I can and attempt to find out all I can and then I can report back to everyone."
Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Dune shakes his head, No, to Lubidius' question.

Alanis thinks for a moment before replying, "I have this fire spell, it has nothing to do with what you're asking but I thought I'd say it anyway."

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
"That would be great for a diversion but I would hate to waste it on just that. With cave trolls in that chamber, we will most likely need that spell for combat." Neev looks at Lubidius. "Maybe you could sneak around the edge of the chamber to scout out the southern passage. This way we will not be caught between two large groups if there is one."

Thifli nods in agreement to Neev's idea, A recon would be good. We can always fight later.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Yes there is plenty of dead orc clothing between the 2 Alanis murdered last time and the 6 here that did not get torched by a mysterious power. The clothing might be a bit big for the only dwarf of the party. Also the clothing will smell badly and be baggy on the thin elven folk.

Let's waste no time! Thifli says and begins rummaging through the bodies seeking his closest match.

Alanis rummages through the orc bodies for clothing that will match him the best, or at least close enough to work. He hums a tune to himself as he searches.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Neev carefully picks through the bodies for clothing that will fit him. He reminds himself of the need to cast Cure Disease on everyone after this is through.
Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Dune wrinkles his nose. He regards his grey cloak and wonders if he can avoid donning the orcish garb. He waits while the others dress.

Thifli, Dwarf Fighter
Thifli takes a pause, looks at Dune with a smirk, and continues to seek a good fit.
Must be the elf in him, he mutters to himself.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Everyone save for Dune so far manages to find close enough to fit them aside from Thifli who finds the pants are too long and the shirt is very large in the arms and tight in the chest for his dwarven build. Everyone finds the clothing smells terribly but at least it might help them get past with less notice than their original gear would. Dune watches really wanting to just keep his own garb on and not smell of orc urine. THe entire time there is no noise of any patrols strange perhaps or perhaps not. Oddly enough even the echos of distant mining is not even heard.
