Re: OOC Chat II
I just wish Val had gotten knocked out more heroically... an arrow to the back just doesn't cut it on the "cool" scale...
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: OOC Chat II
It's definitely not up there with getting hit by literal friendly fire.

Re: OOC Chat II
Hopefully the party survives so he'll get another chance to get knocked out in a more exciting way

Halfred was just trying to save you from being dismembered by a troll. Trolls only eat live prey, right?MonkeyWrench wrote:I just wish Val had gotten knocked out more heroically... an arrow to the back just doesn't cut it on the "cool" scale...

Well if that's the case then when Val wakes up he'll have to thank Halfred!

Re: OOC Chat II
If the "thanking" is as useful as the "helping"...Halfred might have to run away before he wakes up. Oh, question: how much XP is Val worth?

A first level elf--not much!

In that case I don't regret pulling him out of the water!

Thanks! I've never had the chance to actually play in a multi-party sandbox before, I'm really looking forward to it.
Seadu Erana will be waiting patiently at the tavern when the next party gets back—and by that time, probably drunk off his keister.

Hi All
Sorry for the long absence. I got sick back in February which then swept through the whole family (wife and 3 kids). My boss also left so I;ve also had to pick up a bunch of new responsibilities until we get a full time replacement. I know it seems a lame excuse not to log on as it doesn't take that long to post, but honestly, to really having one less thing to worry about on my list of crap to do. was a relief.
I'm just now getting on top of things so hopefully I can get into one fo the next adventuring parties.
Cheers

Re: OOC Chat II
I am going to be out of town this weekend, and I don't know if I'll have a chance to post.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

If the wrestling matches go well, I was thinking Lug might want to have something like this printed up and posted around town:
Maybe a woodcut version of that.

Re: OOC Chat II
That's definitely the sort of thing he could get done!
