Re: OOC
thanks Max... that sentiment is not lost on me. Weaker...no but should the roles be reversed Tabai would assist in getting the entire living members to safer ground even if he himself gets killed doing so...just sayin.

Re: OOC
Knowing Ogre Mage well, I took it as good IC fun. But then again, I am playing the diabolical sorcerer priest.
I hope we can remain together. This has been great, flavorful fun so far. Thanks Grog, for running it.

Re: OOC
I sincerely apologize if that's how that was being taken.
I was hoping to portray the idea that an elf who doesn't sleep much that was growing more and more perturbed at the constant need to stop. I meant absolutely no disrespect by the increasing derogatory remarks.
I didn't sense that it was being taken as anything else so, I kept doing it.
I am more than happy to knock off that behavior forthwith. And, if that is not sufficient, I would much rather that I, the offender, stepped away from the game so that you can all continue.
Again, my sincerest apologies to anyone who was offended!

Re: OOC
Yeah, I just saw it as Ogre role-playing his character. I just took it as Siavel being...well, Siavel. He's a 924-year-old elf. Hell, the guy has probably seen his share of things, and he's majorly jaded.
I second Inferno, I'm having a blast trying to get through this damn shrine. Thanks, Grog!

Definitely! Let's just enjoy ourselves. I don't see any need for anyone to drop out, unless they feel strongly about it.
I have found that playing in this format is really tricky sometimes. It's hard to capture tone when we are only communicating through posts instead of sitting around a table.
We'll all probably end up as more victims of the shrine anyway.

Okay let's continue. I hope to post IC tomorrow. Siavel will go down the stairs to see what's there, then can reconsider or not if he wishes.

Enjoy Dram!
It's April school vacation week and I'm away with the family. I'll be returning Sunday. I likely won't be able to do DM posts (though perhaps some quick player-side posts.) Thanks.

Re: OOC
Just letting you all know that I will be heading back down to the island for our spring vacation this afternoon.
I will still try to post when I can, but my posting rate may be far slower than normal for the next 12 days or so.
I blame it on the Red Stripe.

I thought Siavel snatched it up, but I'm wrong. No one picked it up...Are we freakin' idiots or what!!!!????OGRE MAGE wrote:Siavel cares nothing for the armor and weapons, obviously. He takes a closer look at the Periapt but thinks that item might be better carried by one of the frontline fighters.
