I have heard good things, but I don't own any of the material..........yet?
Same as Ogre Mage.
IF...one were to be interested in The One Ring rpg, should one purchased the Core Rule Book or the Starter Set?
Hypothetically speaking of course  :SAN:

I'm wrapping my head around the Fate Core rules, and if you'd be interested in a low magic fantasy, or swash-buckle-y run through the Scenario Simulator, let me know. Also, if you're an old hand at Fate Core and want to mentor a newbie DM, feel free to volunteer yourself.

I think this is different than your Scenario Simulator, but I'm still keen to run or be a part of something Fate Core related. :)

Consider yourself invited!

I'm definitely thinking "swashy-buckly", and the Scenario Simulator Layout will help players see what sorts of things will be done, so they have some guildance on character generation. It also gives me a simple structure to build on. Because I'll be learning to DM Fate (for that matter, to play Fate), having a explicit structure will help.

Let me read up on the project, but I'd be happy to play something both swashy and bucklery!

Since I wasn't following the Scenario Simulator thread, I've skimmed it a bit to figure out what it's about. That sounds great and I think the narrative-heavy approach of Fate may show some real differences with other, more familiar systems. I'm in!

I'd be interested in learning FATE. I'm not sure I could commit to an ongoing campaign, so the Scenario Simulator sounds perfect!

If you need another person to round out Fate I have the rules and have played a couple times. I am no expert though and have no interest in trying to run a game.

My goal is to come up with a fun setting, and to hit as many of the ScenSim "encounters" as I can. Each encounter will be what Fate calls a "minor milestone", and will be an encapsulated scene in the game.

Happy to have you aboard! I'm going to stick as close to Fate Core as I can, and I expect a lot of OOC dialogue as we go. Fate is collaborative, and that actually counts as one of the "encounters". :)

Sounds good.

By the way the Scenario Simulator is self enrolling. You don't need an admin to enroll and start creating whatever you need/want.

I have started listing Fate resources in the new Fate Forum. If you want to add stuff, and please label it by Fate version if appropriate. For those interested in playing in the ScenSim game I'm putting together, Character Generation will be the first big hurdle. It's different than just rolling dice. Not as specific as GURPs or the HERO system, but more collaborative. I'll include notes on how to use the chargen worksheet, and relevant concepts for the game I'm going to run.

I think I'd like to run a fun-slinging dungeon crawl of hilarity using Risus rules.

Think if Terry Pratchett was a gamemaster?

Hello everyone, I hope that you’re well!

I already posted the below in the introductions section and was advised that it would make sense to post here as well. :-) So sorry if you read this before.

I am looking for a vampire play by post game here on the forums and would appreciate a message in case you know if any game!

Werewolf or Mage would also be an option but Vampire would be preferable. ;-)

Thanks a lot!

Letting you know that I'd be on the market for a "Symbaroum" game if there is anyone willing to DM it. :)

I've recently dove into Pathfinder 2e and just with what is in the beginner box set. I like the system, I'd be interested in playing Pathfinder on here though I don't wish to GM it. Oddly I actually like this over some other editions of D&D.

I have never played Pathfinder, though I did join a game on here. It never got off the ground though. What is it you are liking about it? I thought I had heard it was a clone of D&D 3e or 3.5e or something like that. I never played those either.

"Stole" the Core Rulebook off a guy for 20 smackers. And I downloaded the Paizo bundle the other day. When I finish my 5E game, I'm going back to Pathfinder. I know it has a lot of crunch and munch, but I can regulate that easier than all the shit in 5E. ;)

Only you can say "smackers" Gary! I'm just surprised it wasn't smackeroos! ;)
