I don't know if we accomplished everything we needed to in here, but I concur. If we stick around much longer, I don't know if we'll ever leave.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Did we get the Ripper yet tho? we may want to check out upstairs first - assuming we can find a place to seal up and rest?

Hey, fools. My buddy, Daniel, designs minis and he’s got some new ones in his shop. If you’re into Goblins and Fish Men this is your chance. He has a sweet Kenku archer in there, too: https://www.etsy.com/search?q=mosschester

Not sure if we got him yet, but I doubt we can even make it upstairs. If we don't get out now, the shadows will finish us off.ravenn4544 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 12:32 pm Did we get the Ripper yet tho? we may want to check out upstairs first - assuming we can find a place to seal up and rest?
At least, that's my $0.02.

The doomed heroes know at least one heinous Almost Man yet lives: viewtopic.php?p=630973#p630973
And they also know this:
Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
I think it's better to try to heal up and live to fight another day. Maybe we can try to exit the house and come back later? (Faron is at 1 HP and 1 Strength, BTW).

And with that alarming revelation, we'll pause the game for the holidays.

Thanks everyone for another fun year of gaming. Best holiday wishes to you and your families. See you in the new year.

Merry Winter Solstice End!
Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
Folks: I'm a regular on the Goodreads.com site. They do giveaways of pre-release books for people to read and review- I assume this is to start some buzz about the book, and to get some random quotes for the book cover.
I just got a copy of How to Defend your Lair, by Keith Ammann (who also wrote The Monsters Know What They're Doing). It's a guide to planning encounters with logic, so that your monsters and NPC's aren't just swordfodder that the PCs can mow down like weeds.
I'll post my thoughts on the book when I've finished it.

Those books sound cool, Urson. Interested in hearing about them.

Five... DAYS? This is going to be the longest TPK in gaming history.

Would Room 2 be safe to rest in? The big spider is dead and the little ones are gone. I'm apprehensive about exploring upstairs for a safe space in our current condition.

I'm not sure it can be made defensible- but it's a better bet than the others.
