No doubt!

I'm glad a few of you stayed to help at least. Remind me never to act first in a round in which every other character plans on running away please.

Regarding the Rhodri expedition. I was looking back because it seemed like we had been gone for too long. I think we jumped from April 8th to the 14th somewhere around pages 12 & 13. My guess is that the dates got crossed with the other expedition.

You are correct, and somehow I tacked on a handful of extra days. Thanks very much for calling my attention to it!

The Arch-Duck ain't the smartest fellow, is he?

If he didn't have nine tongues, it couldn't have been Nine Tongues!

He doesn't know where the name came from! He's just doing some scientific analysis--one hypothesis down. He may still be Nine Tongues, but there's no specific reason to think he is except for the white skin.

...and because admitting it is Nine Tongues means he pays you a lot of money. In which case his answer is ALWAYS likely to be "guess it isn't him" until you give him no choice. ;)

I find that I prefer the "the duck is dumb" interpretation ;)

Okay, dumb question here, but I am completely lost:

What is the date of the campaign? Or is the date different for each thread?
I see characters who are currently in my group in the Vaul thread and...I just don't understand how all that's going on at the same time.

Getting old ain't no fun, fellers

Characters in your group should only be active in the Harrowing thread, which happens simultaneously with other stuff but isn't adventuring-oriented (it's just flavor).

The Rogues' Gallery thread lists dates for all active characters, including their "current" location (not including the Harrowing thread, of course).

I think Keehnelf explained it. Each expedition thread is pretty much on its own date, as is the Harrowing Festival thread.
The Vaul threads (Tavern, Town Business, Loot) jump all over the place, but you can only post there if your character is currently in Vaul (i.e. not on an expedition). Characters in your group shouldn't be posting in Vaul, because they are currently getting slaughtered in the dwarf tomb. That is unless they are posting inside the Harrowing thread, which is its own separate monster. But players in your group are also controlling characters from another group that just returned to Vaul, so that might be what you are seeing.

I would say you could still be posting in the Harrowing Festival and interacting with your current group (including poor Crivit), because Krysta was back in town at that point. But I would need a DM call on that because your name doesn't show up on the list of attendees.

If Krysta signed up, I missed it. I'm willing to be flexible or admit error, however :)

No error on your part, Keehnelf > I didn't sign up for the Harrowing thread because Krysta is on an expedition. So, I don't see how she could be in two places at the same time. :?

Actually, I don't believe anybody was on an expedition on the day of the Harrowing festival.

Yeah, nobody was out during that time, though some folks were wasted and others were recovering from horrible wasting diseases.

It's wickedly awesome! I love realistic low-level D&D (or in this case LL)

It may not be a popular sentiment among our party right now, but I'm with hedgeknight. I'm not having fun unless my character's life is on the line.
