Wendall
will go to the carpenters and builders with all the notes he took at the tower. He inquires as to the cost of repairing the roof and anything else that needs fixing. He asks if there are workers that are willing to travel.

Olympia gives the builders her specifications for the chapel, consisting of a larger meeting room and a smaller private office.

How much gold would she need to give them up-front so they can begin around the 23rd?

Radiant Olympia counts out 100 gold pieces--all the gold she possesses presently--and pays the builders to begin work on the Chapel of Fortis, God of Strength.

100g deducted.

She's still got some silver and copper pieces, so as far as she's concerned she's good. :)

Is this tribute, or is this going to be a chapel for her to build herself a congregation around?

Scott308 wrote:Dorvar also is in need of some other supplies, so he will head to the general store. Hello, sir. I recently discovered I do not have a whetstone. I don't know what happened to it, but I need to freshen up the edge on my blade so must purchase a new stone. Also, I am running low on bolts for my crossbow so I need to pick up some more of those as well. And as long as I am here, I might as well pick up some rope and a few flasks of oil. Hmm... anything else? Maybe a shovel, as well. How much coin will you require?
Base prices:

Whetstone 2cp
Bolts 1sp each
Oil 1sp per flask
Rope 1gp hemp, 10gp silk
Shovel 2gp

All with a 20% markup once you determine volumes you want.

The night before heading out to the west, Krysta asks directions to the general store, and walks there to purchase for her journey.
"Ten days worth of trail rations, please. And do you have any fruit or nuts?"

(Deducts 5 gold for trail rations...and will wait to see if there is anything else.)

remember to add a 20% markup to your purchase. Fresh fruit can be purchased as "fresh rations", 2s per day.

We need someone to establish some local supplies for things like this! The farmers in town hardly make enough for the population, let alone all these adventurers who account for about 25% of the population now :)

A single carpenter fixing the roof would take twenty days to complete the roof, with no assistance from laborers. The materials cost would be 50gp plus cost for labor, so 70gp for the carpenter doing the work alone. If he hired on two laborers, the time would be reduced to 14 days and cost would be 78gp total.

In addition, since they'd be working in the wild, they would require an assurance of security during the trip and probably food to be provided for the lot of them (as commuting would be impossible).
