Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!

To Gandrel:
"Yea, perhaps we should follow instead of attack outright so that we may hopefully be lead to where the men are taken."
To Thifli:
"I don't have a problem using you as bait, Thifli, it is just that our quarry seems to prefer human males."

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alright is there anything else the group needs to discuss about the plan? Does anyone need to see what they can get for supplies in town? Are we ready to move on to night fall for the trap scene?

Alanis is ready!

Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Eirik is ready. Given his lack of stealth, he'll want to get into position early, preferably in a fairly comfortable spot with a good view of the target area. Preferably in a nearby alley or some other location with cover (behind water barrels or haystacks or the like).

Neev is ready. He will wait somewhere nearby where he can cast spells as needed.

I'm good to go!
Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Good to go.
Gandrel will practice with his bow during the day if there's time.
That evening, before the time to proceed out, he will remove his leather armour and cast invisibility on himself while keeping the rest of his equipment on him. He will then proceed out and find a good spot to watch the bait, maintaining a good field of fire. He will be close enough to easily follow but not too close that he could be sensed by an animal.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
6 of 8 getting a majority. At this point lets move on. The band of heroes decides upon a plan they go about their day and prepare for the night trap at the tavern. Night comes and those that are the bait spend time in the tavern it is fairly dead for a tavern there are the older men there drinking to forget the troubles the man at the bar is an older man looks like he might have once been a logger he server the drinks and the others in the tavern hear little else for conversations.

Theodore Mumfordian (Half Sylvanian Wood-Elf) Ranger lvl:5 HP 21/21 AC 5):
Theodore begins to act drunk while in the tavern, slurring his speech & acting clumsy.
As the tavern closes up for the night & the folk begin to stream out, Theodore will stumble out the door & walk 'drunkenly' back towards the inn, but 'stumbles' in a space between
two other buildings on the way, where he then leans against a side wall then slides down to the ground, acting woozy & like he could pass out any minute.
He lays there for against the wall for a while hoping this lures in the quarry, hoping the quarry spotted him.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
So far nothing is happening nobody in hiding or otherwise sees anything unusual the older men are leaving to go home to wives or in some cases an empty home. Theodore doesn't see anything or hear anything out of the normal. So far it is looking like the trap ploy is a failure thus far.

I suggest we wait a little longer. We don't know what hour of the night the disappearances occurred.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alanis, having his hands full of bread as well as a large chunk still in his mouth, heads to a concealed location in the bar, hiding in a corner that is near a window to look out and wait for the action to happen. While he waits however he saves the bread people from a fate of lonely negligence, by consuming them.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
What exactly is everyone watching near the tavern it is near the edge of town next to some homes and the logging company barracks. The forest is about 40 feet from the back of the tavern. Roughly 60 feet from the door of the tavern. the tavern has a sort of rural alley way that is about maybe 20 feet wide between the two buildings the town of Tragidore is not walled in the only real defense is out near the road at the entrance and exit of the town from west and east a farmer style wooden fense is all that really blocks the wilderness from the inner town other than that there is nothing. Anyone watching back towards the woods with any type of infravision please give me an awareness check.... just roll for Wisdom check.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Eirik is keeping his eye on Theodore, or at least the best he can given the circumstances. Given that I declared I wanted a good hiding spot with an eye-line on the bait, I'm assuming I can't see the woods, at least not well.
Also, as a human, I have no infravision. So it's kind of a moot point. Don't mind me.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Gandrel is watching all around but keeping most attention on the bait. In case you judge he has any chance of spotting anything Mr DM:

Yes low is what you want unless it is a saving throw.
