Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Bandir confident the battle is nearing an end gathers up Werewolf 2 and brings the body near the intersecting streets and does the same with Werewolf 1 to ensure they are watched over and are truly dead. If the bodies transform to human form he will check to see if any of the guards recognize them as local town folk.
Bandir says, "I'm going to get the werewolf bodies gathered in the crossroads here."
Bandir stays alert in case the last wolf charges him or the werewolves come to life and attack. He attacks as needed or just gets the bodies together.

Arastor will watch the werewolf bodies as well. The fight has taken most of the wind out of him.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
No need for a round summary Players won initiative and the dire wolves are both dead based on the really good rolls.
The party a bit tired and bloody defeat all of their foes. There now lay dead two dire wolves they don't change the two dead werewolves change slowly back into human form neither look like anyone you recognize from the village at all both appear to be men dressed like farmers or some sort of laborers possibly lumberjacks? possibly Farmers? or even possibly Woodsmen? but none of the party can tell. They have nothing on them other than their basic clothing. No weapons or money is located on them. They don't match the descriptions of any of the folk killed by the werewolves either. However they do have what appears to be bite marks on their shoulders right around the collar bones perhaps they are not the original werewolves but the changed humans based upon what the party knows about this creature.

Krakus- Looks over the werewolves. Let us cover the bodies up and have some the local men look at there faces. Maybe they might recognize them.

Canis NPC "I'll go get the town guard and Rethor." the rogue says as he runs off towards the guard building.
Pheras NPC surveys the area towards where the dire wolves originated from and reports back "You know I could swear there was something more watching us just now and during the battle, but I just looked and couldn't see anything. Perhaps our ranger might be able to scout for tracks?"

"You think there are more of these things", inquires Bandir? "Well let's get the captain of the guards or whoever and some troops to check this out. Pheras good job, let's gather our band and start a search after we get the wounded healed up. We have the advantage of numbers now perhaps and with the moon full it's our best chance. Perhaps if we know more about these two werewolves here it may give us a clue as to who bit them in the first place. Let's be quick about getting things going though."

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
A moment later Canis returns with not Rethor but his two guards working the evening shift. Canis "Couldn't get Rethor to come guys however these two guards were released to join us here to help cleanup the battlefield. Hopefully they can help us identify these men." the rogue goes over to one of the defeated now dead werewolves and has the two men with him look it over. They both shake heads and shrug shoulders not recognizing the first man. Canis too shrugs and heads over to the second body, at first the men act as if they do not recognize him then it appears one of them does recall seeing the man. "I think that was Bilge one of the men visiting from a neighboring town. He came here as a forester, or as I believe they are more commonly called a Ranger. Stays out in the woods mostly kinda like the elves do and so forth. I didn't even know he was missing we thought he left long before the werewolf attacks began. He'd been gone we'd thought for about a week or two before the attacks." the man finishes. Then they begin pitching in clearing the dead from the public area so as not to scare off the residents of the town once morning comes.
Canis to the others "So whats the plan then fellas? We going out in the woods in the night or what is going on?"
Pheras relays back to Canis who was missing at the time "Appears into the woods after we're all healed. I think we were being watched by some more of these creatures."

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Krakus- Looks over the injured. Maybe we should heal and wait for the light of day. Our ranger may be able track these Werewolves back to their lair.
Current Characters/Games
Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Bandir nods to Krakus but says, "It may be best to track these beast while they are in human form rather than werewolf form too. If we can track them to their lair tomorrow it may be our best chance to take them out. How do you prove a werewolf in human form is a werewolf though? Bandir severs the werewolves/human forms heads. Pheras make a note where you thought you saw something watching us so we can start our search for tracks there after we rest this morning. Sleep and food will help to get us going."

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Pheras "I can mark the spot if someone wishes to accompany me in case of an attack." btw not sure how badly injured Canis and Pheras are it is possible they both may have been badly hurt. I wasn't tallying the HP on their sheets since I don't have control over them yet.

Bandir says, "I'll join you but we don't need to go close, just point it out from a distance my friend. After we rest we can all go over and see if we can find any tracks up close."
