Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures

Therick, follows after the excited halfling, approaching the group that returned from dealing with troublesome Orcs and their ilk.

He does note a dark elf female among them wearing the the symbol of Eilistraee, hanging from her neck.

Therick, acknowledges, Xlore.

Therick says, "Greetings all! We have heard of your dealings with the orcs and the lose of some of your companions.
Congratulations on your success and my condolences for the ones lost among you."

"Trist and I, are in town looking for work and have come upon a task we would like to look into involving a wizard named Kavorquian and some female leader of some sort seeking power over the land."

"When we heard about you all, we were going to wait in town for your return and ask for your assistance as we know we could not do this with just the two of us."

"It was Alaric, that gave us this information, if you wish to inquire with him."

"If you wish to help us, we will go at your convenience."

"I am Therick Ulrazor, I am a wizard by trade."

He looks to Delsenora, "So tell me Moon Dancer, does the Lady of the Dance, envy your dance moves?"

"And Oh, This here is the Trist I was referring to.", motioning towards Trist.

He looks to Delsenora, "So tell me Moon Dancer, does the Lady of the Dance, envy your dance moves?"

"And Oh, This here is the Trist I was referring to.", motioning towards Trist.

Delsenora

"Not every dance is the same, friend Therick. I do her bidding and she grants me what she deems I deserve I suppose. My companions

here have seen me dance they can attest whether Eilistraee favors me in my dance. Well met,"

she bows gracefully.

Weston

"Well met Therick and Trist. I am Weston Turville, cleric of Azuth. We have some business to attend to in town, but I do not think it will take overl long to complete. I would be interested in hearing more about the problem you need assistance with. There is a wizard involved?"

[Rex]

Egon

When he has a chance Egon will try tasting the potion to see if he can tell what it is. He will then ask to see the scabbard and see if it changes to fit his scimitar.

Urtesi

An elf, wearing heavy armor, a sword and a shield, greets the halfling. "It is good to see you friend Harribal." He then approaches the two elves. "I am Urtesi Saviesa. I am a priest. I would hear more about this Kavorquian and the mystery woman too. I wonder if she has something to do with these underground tunnels that we have explored, a very strange place filled with undead and monsters."

Egon finds that the scabbard fits his scimitar. Tasting the potion it is odorless and fairly tasteless, however he doesn't notice it until someone says "Look at that! The dwarf his feet ain't even touchin' the ground!" the dwarf is levitating about 3 inches above the ground.

[Rex]

Egon

Egon will remove his scimitar and see if he notices anything different about it.

"Looks like a potion of Levitation and the scabbard adjusts to fit different swords, not sure what it does yet.. How are we splitting up treasure?"

Delsenora

"I gather we should go see Reggie again to identify what needs to be identified and we can just split the

rest of what we have evenly like last time."

[Captain Kinkajou]

Elanriel

Also feeling a little embarrassed at the attention, Elanriel lurks awkwardly at the back behind Delsenora. She listens carefully to the exchange with the male newcomer. Therick, she thinks he said his name was. She also keeps one eye on the other one, Trist, measuring her up. She can sense it once again. Something approaching. It is indistinct but definitely there beneath the surface, perhaps drawing them all in. Are the elves part of it? She can't be certain but their mission seems to be the next step on her journey.

Some children being to gather gawking and pointing at Egon "Look at that a floatin' dwarf!" "Ma I want one!" "Aw thats cool I haven't seen a floatin' dwarf before!" "Woah thats cool how'd he do that?" then slowly the potion tasting effect wears off and Egon floats gentle to the ground. "Aww shows over I guess." is heard from multiples of the kids and they all head off to see other things in the festival's final day.

Egon

Egon waves at the children. "Run along now, show is over." He says with a chuckle.

He will continue to mess with this scimitar in the scabbard. Slide it in and out, turn it upside down, examine the edge, etc.

Egon

"I think I figured out the scabbard, my scimitar stays in it when it is upside down. Kinda handy, not sure who else's sword will fit."

Just seeming to notice the new comers,"Greetings, I am Egon, Wayfinder by profession."

The Dark Elf grins and calls after the children "Come, little ones, and play with my friends Zana and Fana! They

love playing with children, I promise."


Playing would be one of the trick Del would have taught the Ferrets. So not dangerous. Just in case

Animal Handling

Animal Handling [1d20] = 16

Just to help with the Ferrets interacting with the children if they do come play. (Made the roll exactly lol)

Luxor- Did Alaric have any idea who this female leader might be? We shall speak more with Alaric. Lets head to the tavern first and get a warm meal.

Delsenora

"I'll bring Reggie the items then join you, no worries."

She begins moving in the direction of Reggie's, Zana and Fana in tow.

Weston

If Delsenora doesn't mind, he'll accompany her to Reggie's.

Says to Anuzal as he pulls out the note given to him by Alaric, "This is what we know of this mad woman, so far. It does brings to mind Lolth, or even involve Moander, but appears it could be someone else all together, with her own mechanizations."

Elanriel tags along with Delsenora, Weston and the ferrets.
