Zahra readies her javelin, but holds it for now. I am not sure I can hit a fast- moving target like that.

"I have no more darts," she says, sword in hand.

"I have arrows," Iago remarks. "And a keen eye." He winks at Dahinna in the gloom. "For some things, anyway. Perhaps we could snipe these creatures before we proceed. Though I hate to send arrows into the near-darkness where I can't reclaim them. Who knows how many I'll need down here?"

Zahra rolls her eyes at the pirate's constant flirtation with the thief. go ahead and rut- and get it out of your systems, she mutters.

"Kill whatever it is before we die of old age," Cruloc rumbles from the rear.

Kiri digs in his pouch and readies himself to cast Feather Fall on Grigor should things go awry.

Amethu holds one hand on staff and one on the rope. His holds his magic in reserve.

Grigor's allies make no move to aid him against the gigantic creature sacred to the Atlantean god of the Underworld.

Alone on the swaying spindle-bridge, the gypsy regains his balance and fights. But his sword-lunge does not find flesh.

Gnasher pulls his leash tight and barks at the looming winged monster as its bright fangs snap only empty air!

Between the heads of the warriors crowding the narrow hallway in front of him, Cruloc glimpses Zahra's javelin impale the giant bat.

"Hreh. While these fools stand around bellowing like branded bulls, the Amazon proves her worth."

Grigor halfway across and Gnasher straining at a leash, he stumbles forward not back, calling the others to cross.

Iago purses his lips, apparently deep in thought. "Nay. More a racehorse than a bull, I think." He puffs out his chest, then exhales with a great laugh before drawing his sword and dashing across the bridge.

Amethu follows the group if they are now going to cross. He will still bide his team so they don’t get too bunched up over the expanse.

Kiri moves when the others do, now keeping an eye out, head swiveling, for the first to fall, if any do, to slow their descent with magic.

The bat leviathan comes before Kiri's spectral torch and for a moment the veins of its membranous wings glow red with blood.

"Grigor! Come back where we can protect you!" shouts Dahinna even as her companions storm the bridge. Ropes groan beneath their weight as Iago, Kiri and Amethu brave the tenuous scaffold!

An amazon bred for war, Zahra unflinchingly sends her javelin ahead of them! In the feral tangle of scimitar and wings, disaster strikes and the deadly missile lands in the center of Grigor's back! (8hp damage)

The shock ruins Grigor's aim but he manages to fend off the bat's great white teeth!

Seeing the javelin strike Grigor in the back brings a gasp of horror from the Zamoran rogue. She quickly recovers and hurries forward. "Oh Zahra! I know you didn't mean to do that. Let's go help him."

Dahinna will either go around or follow Zahra out onto the bridge.

Zahra snarls and mutters a harsh curse in Old Atlantean. I should have known better. I am a fool.
She hesitates a minute, torn between helping and caution. She'll hold her place until next round.

Feeling the unsteadiness of the bridge, Kiri halts his considerable mass and steps back a few paces.

Grigor

Feels the impaling of the wyverns sting. Thought he was fighting bats but another dread shaft stabs him. If he can he reaches round with his hand, pulls the javelin out and throws it at the bat.
