Dahinna
When asked to choose the direction of their next adventure, the rogue of Zamora murmurs, 'I just want to go home."
Then she finds her voice and says a little louder, "The thought of descending back into the underworld of the Thracian dead, where we lost...where I nearly went mad, makes my heart quiver with dread. Hunting harpies on the surface sounds only a little bit better. What if their song enraptures the lot of you? What will I do then?"
She then turns to the Verulian magus and asks, "Remind me again...what do we seek exactly and to what end?"

Cruloc
"We bested the harpies and have nothing to show for it. Cursed be your dusty tomes - I've no use for the scribblings of dead men!; I came to this Lost City for jewels and coins to slake my thirst and cool my loins!"
"Besides," he growls, holding out of a wad of sticky tree sap toward the Zamoran, "I have been collecting this to protect the men's ears from the harpies' foul melodies. If memory serves, you are immune."
"We can return to the underworld for your books, Amethu, after my pockets jingle a little louder!"

Re: Chapter 25: Tooth and Claw
Amethu concedes that searching and eradicating unwanted inhabitants in the city is a sound plan. "It would only ensure our successful conclusion of my...our quest to the ancient city below. Mighty Cruloc will lead the hunt".
To Dahinna's question on the quest itself, he summarizes, "In vaults deep beneath the city of Thracia - a city on the bones of lost Atlantis- was once the greatest library on Earth. Verulia's lost past would be found there. Maps of the old kingdom might locate sister cities and more Verulian survivors. Recovery of the royal lineage of Pharaohs would ensure that the rightful heir sits upon the golden throne of the Great Pyramid once more. A noble quest, indeed"
I need to yet update sheet with encumbrance (food and torches) and spells.

Kiri agrees to the plan for taking care of the harpies first. "Otherwise, what if we exit this hole only to become entranced by them then? It's a sound plan." He moves to inspect the homemade earplugs with mild interest.
Re: Chapter 25: Tooth and Claw
Then it's the bird women, Torix says. He accepts a pair of the sap earplugs. My thanks, Cruloc. He's eager to test the ancient light, finely balanced spear with its razor-sharp head again.

Cruloc stashes his +1 Thracian long sword and his silver in a shallow hole he digs in the vicinity of Zahra's grave.
He nods at Torix.

The rogue sighs deeply and then girds her belt and nods. "Then lead on. I have a score to settle with those singing bitches."
