Re: The Lost Tavern
Theo follows as well and moves to the front of the group. If there's anything he's good at, it's not getting surprised.

Lerrick
The cleric finds a space in the middle of the as the group continues to follow the little boy. If the is not a lot of light from the streets they walk through she will provide some with her glow stone.

Re: The Lost Tavern
The Lost Tavern
The Ethereal Marketplace
Andron tells the group to remain alert as they take off after the silent young boy.
The group pass more crowded streets, filled with several weapons makers and vendors, moving to the east a few blocks before their guide makes a sharp turn to the south again. He continues moving through the streets, eventually passing what appear to be more food stands and vendors.
It is difficult to keep track of the boy with all the strange distractions along both sides of the street. The site and smells of roasting food of all kinds fill your senses, and fruit and veggie stands of all kinds are commonplace in this area.
After walking several more blocks without seeing any trouble, the young boy turns again at a lonely intersection with a dark, dead end alleyway. It looks like this might be an area that isn't part of the Market, as there are no patrons anywhere in this area.
Suddenly, the young boy takes off running towards the darkness at the dead end of the alley.

I knew the child was up to no good. Curse you child! Cresty takes out his non glowing bastard sword and turns facing the direction they just came from in order to fend off any possible attacks from behind the group.
Lerrick
The cleric hold her glow stone with her left hand and equips her mace in her right hand.

Unsurprised by this turn of events, he steps forward to stoically stand beside Theo, his staff firmly planted onto the street in his right hand.

So what are we guessing the hold-up is this time?
Are a few players not getting notifications again?

Re: The Lost Tavern
Alordan stands quiet and unsurprised. When one always expects the worst, one can never be disappointed.
Hmm, let's see. My excuses:
1) I had one drafted but forgot to update
2) I was waiting for some poor recent rolls to wear off
3) There was an earthquake,
4) … a terrible flood,
5) …locust’s!!

Torbath stays with the group ready for combat.
Speaking only for myself I would have to say loser?

The Lost Tavern
The Ethereal Marketplace
The group watches as the child disappears into the darkness at the back of the abandoned alleyway.
They draw their weapons and remain on high alert for any danger.......but none comes.
There is no other indication as to what might be beyond the dark street, but at least there is no attack or other unpleasant outcome to their visit.
With nobody else around, the group looks each other over in the shadows of the towering buildings surrounding them, feeling a little silly standing there at the ready, yet all alone.
The back of the alley remains dark and quiet, almost tempting the party to take a closer look.

both the fighter and the cleric follow along, maintaining the places in the party marching order. Cresty looks behind him periodically making sure a threat is not behind the group.

Re: The Lost Tavern
I guess I will have to assume the party sticks together here?
The Lost Tavern
The Ethereal Marketplace
The gang cautiously moves into the dark alley to find their guide, trying to navigate the dimly lit dead-end street as carefully as possible. Once they reach the darker area at the back, the light is so dim they can barely see. Their magic light works, but just barely enough to see shapes and shadows around them.
It appears there are several small figures here in the darkness, possibly the remainder of the children from earlier. They all stand around silently along the outer walls of the alley, intermingled within dark tentacles that wriggle around pretty much everywhere else you can see in this area.
Can I have everyone give me a Save vs. Paralysation at +4, please? If you pass it, you may take an action.
