Pig Faced Man?
No Idea On Time Or Day
Belloc starts casting a spell as the tusk bearing pink behemoth bites at him again, this time taking a large chunk of flesh from the Mage's left shoulder.
10 dam
With his magic spell suddenly disrupted by the severe pain of this injury, his plan to escape the danger appears thwarted.
(you can make a 3d6 roll (add 10 from the damage) vs. INT to determine if he lost the spell or not) The porcine monster seems to enjoy the taste of human flesh much better than snakemen, as it swallows loudly and appears ready to take another bite.
OOC:
does belloc get an initiative roll to see if he could cast the spell before the attack? i thought tge pig missed the first and this was a new attack
just in case
His initial attack (miss) was a Surprise round.
Belloc lost Initiative in the next round and was attacked before his spell went off.
I don't mind if you add your own Imitative rolls along with your attacks, but I obviously can't use them after the current action has already been updated.
Did you want to make any action for Belloc this round?
I could also point out that Round resolution usually plays out in this order:
Melee
Missile
Magic
Movement

Akhilleus
"A pox on it! I can't harm him!" Shouts the warrior in frustration. And then to Magda.
"I'm not wrestling him. He might bite my shoulder off! Look at Belloc!" He says in terror.
He then switches weapons from broad sword to... silver dagger
Not rolling because I guess switching weapons is the action in itself. I'll roll if you tell me otherwise OM.
REX: HE'S INMUNE TO NORMAL WEAPONS.
For this one I will use my usual ruling.
Dropping the weapon and drawing another will still allow one attack.
But sheathing or stowing a weapon and then drawing another takes the full round.

OOC: got it, i prefer if you roll initiative and such, it saves a round of back and forth posts, just wasn't sure it was already included
Belloc will try to back away and cast darkness hoping to provide an escape opportunity

Then a full round. I prefer not to drop the weapon. I'm sure we'll have to run for it...

Kainaxarthos
He scoffs at Cyril and Magda while turning to look back at the Master. "Eat us? Belloc I can see, but surely not us."

Ceana
The confused druid turns to look at Belloc, who is obviously trying to cast a spell of some kind...or is he just talking with his hands? "Either way, it looks like he's having a good time with our new friend. Wouldn't you say, Kain?"

Under The Zakath Desert
Ugly Pig Faced Man Is Hungry
No Idea On Time Or Day
Kain and Ceana can't understand why none of their friends are listening to them while they try to divert attention away from the feasting manboarpig nearby. Magda tries to talk sense into them, but neither is accepting any of that nonsense, as they both still find the strange creature to be quite accommodating towards them.
Cyril sees things for what they are, assuming that the two have been magically compromised in some way. The Priest of Azathoth wisely takes his leave of this dangerous situation, suggesting that the others all do the same, despite what the monster is currently doing to Belloc.
When a serious attack from his normal sword does nothing to damage the enemy, Akhilleus stays put and switches from sword to Drest's silver dagger.
(not sure who has this item at this point but I don't believe there are 2 of them)
Without thinking about retreat, Drest, Xenos, and Taibhse charge in behind the others, two of them with magic at the ready. Drest misses completely, while Xenos strikes true. Though his sword blow itself does nothing to injure the thing, it is apparently chilled by the touch of his icy magic, causing it to let out a painful grunt. Oddly, when Taibhse does nearly the same thing, neither spell or weapon seem to affect the beast.
Sik stays put and pulls out a silver bullet, slinging it at the distant monster. He sees it make contact and cause a minor injury, but this huge beast appears as though it could take many, many more hits just like it.
With the worst of his new wound being absorbed by the magical health buff he received from his staff recently, Belloc tries to sneak away from the threat now that others have come to his rescue. Unfortunately, the creature proves difficult to shake as it gores its tusks into the retreating Magician again, this time to a slightly lesser extent.
6 dam With the others suddenly surrounding the beast, Belloc thinks he can try a spell if he can slip away a little further.
(Can I get a target for the Darkness spell, please?)

OOC: i cast it on one of Bellocs darts (intention is that he can drop it or throw it if needed with the darkness on it, will try to use Crestos vision to orient himself)

Sik shouts to those in the melee with the pig beast:
"Retreat! We don't have the weapons to deal with this creature!"
He makes a half move back towards the cliff path while firing a second silver bullet at the creature.
To hit: [1d20+1]=5+1=6, damage with sling: [1d4]=4

Drest
Akhilleus has the silver dagger.
Drest pulls out his magic wand and tries pointing it at the boarpigman.
"Blind!"

Akhilleus stabs at the monster.
Silver Dagger - To hit: [1d20+1]=18+1=19; Dmg: [1d4+2]=3+2=5
And starts going back.
"There's no way we can defeat this monster with only a silver needle. We have to retreat!
And someone slap those on the face!" Meaning Ceana and Kane.

Xenos
The Ixian backs up slightly, grabs the net from his pack and attempts to cast it over of the creature:
[1d20]=17
He gets a +1 from STR, but not sure if that will count here.

Ceana
Confusticated and bebothered about all this huffle, the Druid grabs Kain by the arm and says, "We need to stop this mess, c'mon!" she says, trying to drag her companion with her.
"And the only person getting slapped today is you, Akhilleus! You just wait 'til I get there!"

Scoffing loudly at the pair of spell-bound clerics as well as the withdrawing barbarian, Magda rushes past all three to the scene of battle. She carefully places her Lantern on the ground 10 feet behind Drest before moving up, staff in hand, carefully watching the results of Xenos' net throw. (Full move + set down item)

Under The Zakath Desert
Ugly Pig Faced Man Is Hungry
No Idea On Time Or Day
With several members of the group suddenly attacking the monster trying to eat their Magician, Belloc takes advantage by slipping away to use his magic. He pulls out one of his darts and starts to chant before suddenly vanishing within a 15 foot cloud of blackness.
Though his silver bullets do seem to be affecting the beast, Sik continues to call for a retreat, moving away further while firing another missile into the darkness beyond the melee.
Akhilleus also believes this foe is too great a threat to the group. He calls for a retreat while striking at the threat with his silver dagger. The gash it leaves in the side of the Pigman is sufficient enough to entice a growl of pain from the enemy, but the normally stoic Fighter moves away from the danger after his attack all the same. Then he shouts for someone to slap some sense into Kain and Ceana, still hanging out over by the base of the cliff.
Ceana doesn't seem to happy with that idea, grabbing the clearly distracted Kain by his arm and pulling him over to Akhilleus as he flees. The monster takes a moment to look in their direction, still speaking in the common tongue.
"I though the three of us were friends! Are you seriously going to allow these people to attack me like this? Get over here and stop them!" Both Kain and Ceana feel obligated to oblige.
Watching with interest as the fighters ply their trade, Magda moves closer and sets down her lantern so the light can better shine on the deadly action. She watches as Taibhse also tries his luck at injuring the monster to no avail. Neither his staff or the spell cast upon it seem to have any affect this time.
However, all is not necessarily lost just yet. In a sudden streak of better luck, Xenos tosses the net he brought along to deal with the gargoyle on the surface over the beast with a nearly perfect throw. The thick net lands over the head of the Pigman, trapping one of its fatty arms as well, disrupting its ability to gore any nearby opponent this round. With the monster flailing now, trying to free itself from the net, Drest pulls out the wand he found on the snakemen above. He points it at the beast and calls out the word
"Blind". To the Scouts sheer astonishment, the wand seems to work just fine in his normally uncouth hands, sending a tiny black beam into the Pigman that clearly does as intended, when the monster starts to flail its arms and spin around aimlessly as if it could no longer see. It shouts out to the ensorcelled dou again.
"STOP THEM! STOP THEM NOW!!!"

Belloc drops the dart/darkness and grips his staff with both hands, stepping forward to confront the pigman. Channeling the stygian power within, he prepares to unleash Vampiric Touch.
Rushing out of the shadows, he roars, "Gorge on the wrath of eldritch might!" as dark energy crackles around his staff, ready to drain the pigman's life force.
will cast vampiric touch with the attack
