His initial attack (miss) was a Surprise round.Belkregos wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 7:35 pmOOC:OGRE MAGE wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 3:40 pm Under The Zakath Desert
Pig Faced Man?
No Idea On Time Or Day
Belloc starts casting a spell as the tusk bearing pink behemoth bites at him again, this time taking a large chunk of flesh from the Mage's left shoulder. 10 dam![]()
With his magic spell suddenly disrupted by the severe pain of this injury, his plan to escape the danger appears thwarted. (you can make a 3d6 roll (add 10 from the damage) vs. INT to determine if he lost the spell or not) The porcine monster seems to enjoy the taste of human flesh much better than snakemen, as it swallows loudly and appears ready to take another bite.
does belloc get an initiative roll to see if he could cast the spell before the attack? i thought tge pig missed the first and this was a new attack
just in case
Belloc lost Initiative in the next round and was attacked before his spell went off.
I don't mind if you add your own Imitative rolls along with your attacks, but I obviously can't use them after the current action has already been updated.
Did you want to make any action for Belloc this round?
I could also point out that Round resolution usually plays out in this order:
Melee
Missile
Magic
Movement
