Dorobo's inside twist in upon themselves, fear and guilt mixing in equal parts. Fight or flight. He's not sure his actions would make a difference either way, his friends look to be at death's door.
About 40 yards away now and using a tree for partial cover, he surveys his surroundings for any sign of unseen orcs and readies an arrow.
He targets the closest orc and lets an arrow fly.

You can see where all the known orcs are located, so you are the only one able to determine whether or not any target you've fled from remain in range, and whether that range is short or long.

Nexus ducks behind the stump and keeps low, drawing two daggers ready to throw. He will watch the battle with Ardium intermittently with listening for the approach of the shooter.
The illusionist will hold his action. If the orc fighting the elf retreats some Nexus will throw his daggers at him. If the shooter approaches around the stump he will throw them at him. Whichever happens first.

Delgrot will attempt to swing at the closer enemy while thinking perhaps he should have rushed towards the huge enemy rather than this direction but then again this was closer for someone of his stature.

Jaroo starts to have second thoughts about his ability to last much longer as his wounds have him close to blacking out. His immediate instinct is to back away. He stands firm, however, with a gut feeling that if he doesn't overcome what he is facing, there won't be any chance to do anything else....

Round 11
Delgrot manages to cover the distance needed in order to reach the leader and makes his presence known with a weak, but successful smash with his warhammer.
Unna, continuing her duel against the orc leader, lands a perfect blow! The leader begins to labor, and is officially bloodied, but still has fight left in it.
Still being harassed by a pair of orcs with swords, Roderick forces another attack but without effect. They suffer similarly, their attacks weakened with the prolonged battle.
The orcish leader, hearing cries of pain from some of its members, angrily looks to even the numbers.... and does. With a powerful and vicious strike with its massive two-handed sword, the leader cuts through Unna's leg at the thigh, completely severing the dwarf's leg, and leaves the fighting rogue in a pool of blood (-13). Any hopes or dreams the dwarf had reach a premature end.
Unna is dead.
With the glaive-wielding orc almost literally in his face, Ardium quickly abandons his bow and switches to his elven blade. Slashing with all his might, and manages to successfully strike down his foe.
Keeping himself hidden behind the tree stump, Nexus draws and readies a pair of daggers, but no opponent presents itself for Nexus' held action.

- Sorry, Rex. That hit... not much you can do about that.
- I adjusted Delgrot's actions from last round and this to have him target the leader, as you mentioned that might have been your intention. I'm sure he could have easily spotted the congestion by the crossbow/battle axe orc, and spotted the much better opportunity by the leader.
- Is holding an action a thing in 2e?
- Dorobo is off the map to the east (right).

Nexus peeks around the stump on the left side to glance at the bow shooter. If it isn’t pointing it at him he will scoot across the gap at a run to hide behind the bush Ardium was just fighting the now dead orc, daggers still at the ready.

Round 12
Not spying the orcish archer, Nexus takes advantage of this window of relative safety to scoot out from behind the tree stump he had been hiding behind to sink into the bushes alongside Ardium.

August wipes the orc guts from his blade and begins to make his way over to assist with the leader.

Ardium leaves Nexus alone in the bush and rushes out to engage with the leader, but the orcish brute proves to be a more difficult target to hit as his slashing attempt fails to find purchase.
Delgrot, too, swings wildly at the leader.
Growing tired of the multitude of attackers it seems to constantly face, the orcish leader swings its massive two-handed sword which connects with Delgrot (-8); the swords blade cutting through the dwarf's right thing, leaving the cleric severely damaged!

The orcish archer scans off to the east, waits a second or two to spot any hint of activity, and failing to find any, wheels around and takes up a new target -- Ardium -- but it unleashes two arrows that come nowhere near their target. The archer reloads.
