The party goes into round two and Bro Wilken notices a dwarf sprinting up the road towards him and the rest of the party.

Sprinting up the road to try and catch up with an adventurer band you happen to see a mule and cart with a what looks to you like a party of adventurer folk fighting a pack of gnolls.

Sweets, cursing under his breath the whole way, moves as quick as he can to catch up. He isn't overly excited to be going after werewolves but his coin purse is going empty too fast.

Out of breath he eventually sees the fight between the group he wants to join and some gnolls. He unslings his crossbow and loads one of his handmade bolts. He takes aim at a gnoll and fires.

[1d20+2] = 9+2 = 11
[1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4

Round 3 Actions thus far:
Rethor, Rician, Krakus. So hold for now I have some round 3 attacks from some of you but I will summarize round 2 first.

Gnolls go first again.
Gnolls AC 5 fYi

NPCs:
Gnoll 1 swings at Rician and misses.
Gnoll 3 tries to hit Arastor Gnoll 3 Attacks Arastor [1d20] = 14 [2d4] = 5] hits AC 5.
Gnoll 4 faces off with Krakus and misses.
Gnoll 5 double teams Krakus and misses.
Gnoll 6 tries to attack Mathias missing.
Gnoll 7 teams up on Rician but fails to make a hit.
Gnoll 8 doubles up with gnoll 6 attacking Mathias Gnoll 8 Attacks Mathias [1d20] = 16 hit [2d4] = 2 dmg hits AC 3.
Gnoll 9 sneaks off behind some cover

PCs:
Rethor gets healed by Brother Wilken
Bro. Wilken heals Rethor
Krakus takes a mighty swing at Gnoll 5 but gives the gnoll a close shave.
Canis hits gnoll 3 with one arrow and misses with the second 3 dmg.
Rician hits gnoll 1 for 7 dmg.
Arastor hits gnoll 3 for 7 dmg with one arrow misses with the rest.
Mathias hits gnoll 6 crit for 8 dmg. nat 19 or 20 is a crit
Pheras hits gnolls 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 with magic missiles 3 dmg to gnoll 1, 4 dmg to gnoll 3, 3 dmg to gnoll 4, 5 dmg to gnoll 5 & 2 dmg to gnoll 6.
Sweets reaches the party and fires off a crossbow bolt but does not hit his bolt skips off into the woods.

Gnoll 3 drops dead after the magic missiles.

Sweets is pissed that the first shot missed the mark. Like a well oiled machine he quickly cocks, arms and fires the crossbow again. He holds his breath for a moment before firing at a gnoll.

Brother Wilken (AC 2. HP 22/22) is unwilling to risk firing a sling into melee, so he watches for signs of Gnoll 9 and takes a shot if the opportunity presents itself ...

Sling+1 (stone) = Hit: [1d20+2] = 15+2 = 17 ; Dam S/M/L: [1d4+1] = 1+1 = 2; ROF=1 Range=4/8/16

Alright so we have our round 3 actions for the following Rethor, Rician, Krakus, Sweets, Bro. Wilken, Pheras, & Mathias. Just need Arastor & Canis for round 3. Round 4 we have an action for Rician already.

Oopsy forgot Arastor is shaken for a few rounds so just need Canis to take an action. Arastor is rattled and shaken for 5 rounds so he is out of combat actions fighting wise until round 7 :shock:

Gnolls AC 5

NPCs:
Gnoll 1 continues to attack Rician appears unable to penetrate the protection of evil aura on the paladin.
Gnoll 4 continues to attackKrakus but cannot get a good hit on the barbarian.
Gnoll 5 continues to attackKrakus also cannot prove to be a worthy opponent to the barbarian.
Gnoll 6 continues to attackMathias Gnoll 6 attacks Mathias [1d20] = 17 hit [2d4] = 5 dmg scores a hit for 5 dmg.
Gnoll 7 continues to attack Rician Gnoll 7 attacks Rician [1d20] = 18 hit [2d4] = 7 dmg manages to break through the holy warriors defenses hitting him for 7 dmg.
Gnoll 8 turns to attack Rethor Gnoll 8 Attacks Rethor [1d20] = 13 hit [2d4] = 7 dmg hitting the guard for 7 dmg.
Gnoll 9 pops out of the trees and bushes near Pheras & Bro. Wilken Gnoll 9 Attacks Wilken [1d20] = 19 hit [1d6] = 6 dmg hitting the cleric for 6 dmg with a throwing axe.

PCs:
Rethor swings at gnoll 8 hitting for 7 dmg.
Bro. Wilken waits for gnoll 9 and then will fire a sling bullet at it hitting it for 2 dmg.
Krakus swings at gnoll 5 but misses.
Canis fires another arrow off into the woods. take that you evil trees!
Rician swings again at gnoll 1 hitting for 5 dmg.
Arastor shaken from his fumble in the battle still can't get his head straight to fight.
Mathias swings at gnoll 6 hitting again for 5 dmg.
Pheras launches off some more magic missiles hitting gnoll 1 for 2 dmg, gnoll 4 for 3 dmg, gnoll 5 for 2 dmg, gnoll 6 for 3 dmg, & gnoll 8 for 2 dmg.
Sweets steps forward and fires at gnoll 8 hitting for 5 dmg.

Gnoll 1 slumps to the ground dead after the magic missiles and Rician's strike.
