Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Shay (and maybe Zylax?) will get up from the table and head out the door. She will walk around the side of the building in the direction that the naked bandit was moving. She will watch the windows and balconies for anybody trying to escape the building.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
I'll give you a clear idea of this Inn. The Inn is a two story building with only the one entrance/exit the second floor has no way down other than climbing out a window and jumping off a roof that is at least 30' to 60' off the ground.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
I think that is everyone lol
Alright the party goes up the stairs the woman still scared moves so that the party may enter the upstairs. Three doors and a sturdy railing border this L-shaped area, which overlook potions of the room below. The working girls use this overlook to call down to potential customers. The party heard a room door close on their way up the stairs but there is no telling which door.
Which door shall they choose Door #1, Door #2 or Door #3?

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis decides to find him by order of elimination, starting with Door 1 is good enough. he will start by turning the door knob, if locked he will kick the door in.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Not sure which kind of test you were talking about so here is a minor test and a flat strength test.
Crow STR Check(15): [1d20] = 6
Minor Test(1-2): [1d6] = 6

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Arastor will move to Door #3 and attempt the same as Crow. First door knob then kick in.
STR Check: d20 [1d20] = 16 vs. 13 Open Doors: [1d20] = 20 vs 7
Now I friggin' roll high numbers!

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
normal d20 strength check. You bust the door open and see a working girl in bed with a "client" in mid act the girl screams and the man looks ticked but it is not the man you seek. "What the hell is wrong with you can't you see we are busy wait your turn!"

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis looks around the room to see if the bandit is hiding in there, after seeing that he is not casually gives the girl and man a nod, making note of the man, "You're doing it badly." before walking out of the room to door #2. Testing the doorknob to see if it is locked, if so he will again attempt to kick the door in.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Shay knows she will be useless in a close quarters fight with the big boys so she sticks to her initial action of walking out the door and watching the back windows for any escape attempts.
I will check around the back. Yell out the window if you need me to come back inside.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Door busts open but the new guy gets hit with a bolt trap in the leg Bolt trap [1d4] = 1 + [1d6] = 4 poison you notice the bolt was more than a simple bolt as your leg starts to burn, and gets the tingling feeling when you leg falls asleep. You see nobody in the room.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
He had enough time to built a trap? and the tavern just let him do it? skeptical... Oh well.
Canis(Crow) will remove the bolt and lean against the wall since his leg is now asleep. He motions for Rician to head in and search the place. He will then inspect his leg and the symptoms, using his knowledge in poisons to ascertain the antidote as well as how powerful the poison is.

Arastor sees Canis slump into the door frame and rushes over. When Canis waves Rician to move in to the room, Arastor will follow.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
I never said the man did this is a working girls room and she is not here. Plus the gang owns the town now the inn keeper can't say shite if he wants to live. Checking the room reveals the now triggered trap.MonkeyWrench wrote:He had enough time to built a trap? and the tavern just let him do it? skeptical... Oh well.

Rician finds stained sheets and nothing more. In the closet are a large assortment of womens clothing, costumes, boots, shoes and slippers, and a revealing leather outfit with a whip..... working girl's outfits.
