With Starbeard mentioning he traveled from Caer Arlais, this brings up the stuff about the traveling to get to the funeral again.

See Caer Arlais is over 300 Miles away & Arn has two days to get to Caer Brennau to attend the funeral & will reading.

This is why i mentioned that everyone lived just two days travel from Caer Brennau.

Since no small towns were mentioned nearby, you all would need to make it up.

So the reason why as to not see Gildas Trahern for at least 2 years was, that he, & the adventurers have been away from the area for much of that time.

I gave it 5 days from Gildas' death to the funeral as that's about the norm.

Any longer his body would not be available for viewing due to decomposition.

On that note, the adventurers did view Gildas' body at the funeral prior to them closing it up at the mass.

It was mentioned that Gildas wished some experimental fluid of his, be put on him & you all are to thinking that's why he still looked good after 5 days.

I've edited my post to reflect a more local route. I've also added the results of my Detect Evil, since people asked, and it's not forbidden (short answer: no evil detected).

Using my calculator, turns out the maximum number you can get from 3d6 was 18, and I only had 1.38 chance to roll 17. I got lucky there.

wouldn't know i never watched classic Dr. Who. Still catching up on the newer Dr. Who up to Matt Smith... I liked David Tennant better. :roll:
